17’s All Tournament Team: 501 Volley Invitational

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 17's division at the [program_tooltip program_id='581540' first='501' last='Volley'] Invitational hosted some of the best teams in the area. This division hosted teams from Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana; bringing the best to Central Arkansas. While there were many of talented athletes this weekend, there were a few that showcased their skills and proved to be some of the best of their position at the tournament. These players were scrappy, could adapt to anything, made the impossible possible, and scored many points from there teams. Her ability to connect well with her hitters on these fast tempo sets gives her attackers the ability to swing on an open net quite often. Adametz has a great connection with both of her middles ([player_tooltip player_id='743712' first='Madilyn' last='Lenox'] and [player_tooltip player_id='742438' first='Kaylen' last='Robinson']). Her awareness of her side and the other side of the net made for a very scrappy back row on her team. You do not want to swing in the area that Prichett is in because she will pick up any hard driven swing. Prichett was also very impressive at covering blocks and covering a lot of the back row. Jackson has a unique arm swing that throws off many of the opposing teams blockers and back row. Jackson can score many points by swinging hard driven balls or pushes tips over the middle block creating chaos. The ball can be far off the net, yet her setters trust her to put the ball down. McKinley puts up a very large block and closes the block to the pins very well. Her energy and leadership on her team is shown. Rannals connection with her setter is spot on as most of this team are also all high school teammates. Rannals Can swing around the block very well and has a strong arm swing that is difficult to defend. Candela approach is very quick, explosive, and aggressive which puts her at a high contact point despite her height. Candela has a very strong swing and strong snap to the ball. Candela will pick apart the block in front of her by tooling the block or swinging through the gaps. Candela is exceptionally well at swinging down the line. Moix can make a play out of anything. Moix scored many points at this tournament by swinging hard driven balls down the line and forcing the other side to be out of system. She is also well at tooling the block if the set is tight or trusting her back row by recycling into the block.
