2026 Rankings: Five to See at MEQ

This [program_tooltip program_id='431819' first='CYVBC' last='Surge'] team is competing well this club season as Bowman (*pictured) is a big part of their effort as a left side attacker. At 5'10, she has good tools to pass and swing with the ability to be aggressive with her arm from different attack points that include some quick tempo at the pin and the middle phase of the court. Earning 275 total kills for her Edgewood last fall, she averaged a team best 3.8 k/s along with 8.4 d/m, both career highs. You can catch Bowman and her team competing in the 17 USA division. Woolums was a key contributor for Turpin during the high school season as she shared the setting role for a squad that competed well in the ECC. The primary distributor for NKYVC's second 17U team, she leads a group that has high competitive potential each time they step on the court. She can develop a balanced offense in all directions and I especially like her move to set the ball overhead with good extension and against the flow decisions. This team will compete in the 17 USA division. Davis is dynamic at 5'9 with good tools as a six-rotation prospect. She helps stabilize their serve receive to get their offense in system, which she benefits from through her opportunities to swing. Her slow to fast approach footwork builds good momentum and at the peak of her jump she can drive the ball with good authority and control. Competing for Elite VBTC's top 17U team, if they are in system they can be dangerous with good setting and presence offensively in other positions. They will compete in 17 Open. I like what Shetty provides as a setter. At 5'8, she is simple in her pursuit of the ball with good footwork. She uses some lift off the floor with a high hand contact that includes touch and extension to guide the ball well to create good tempo and location for her attackers. This Buckeye team competes well with some good arms at the other end of her delivery. They are the second seed in their pool in the 17 USA division with an opportunity to stay in the mix after day one. Harris is the epitome of big effort as a DS/L prospect. At 5'6, she is quick and uses a great first-step reaction to track down balls with speed and range. Her contributions out of the back row include action as a primary passer, creating offense with her defense, and at times taking a healthy swing as a back row option given her athleticism to get up and attack aggressively. She and her [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] 17 Conner teammates open up play as the #6 seed overall in the 17 USA division with potential to get on the podium with the likes of Harris' ability to extend plays.
