2027 Rankings: Top 10

The purpose of our rankings is to expose the maximum number of athletes pursuing the recruiting process to the chance to play at the next level. The most important guideline for our Scouts is that the rankings are a projection of someone's future collegiate potential, not a reflection of their current ability.   Important things to consider; Skill needed at that position, IQ, Toughness, Size, Athleticism, and Intangibles such as body language and energy. Remember, all of our scouts place slightly different levels of value on each category. If a player is more athletic, taller, or larger, that will compensate for current skill deficiencies. There's the adage that you cannot teach size and skill. If you go down the different levels of college athletics, the difference is very rarely in skill level. The biggest gaps are in size, explosiveness, and athleticism.    We have spent countless hours in and outside the gym scouting and discussing these players. Congrats to the top players in our 2027 Oklahoma recruiting class.    [player_tooltip player_id='749276' first='Addie' last='Ray'] is an all-around dominant player who is a dual-threat right-side hitter and setter. Addie's remarkable range enables her to track down challenging passes, and her strong hands let her execute quick sets from any position on the floor, constantly leaving defenses guessing. Her ability to be equally deadly in the front row makes her stand out. Addie is a powerful force at the net, shutting down hitters with her size, strength, and blocking ability, unlike many setters. She will punish defenders with power and accuracy if she doesn't get a good block when swinging. Whether she is directing the offense or making plays at the net, her versatility, court awareness, and high-impact play make her a top-tier player. She deserves her spot in the top 10!     [player_tooltip player_id='394209' first='Amelia' last='Mullen']'s reputation for making excellent setting decisions and for her pristine court awareness is what landed her the #7 spot. With her exact timing, mature communication skills, and awareness of the game's rhythm, she sets the tone for her team with a composed yet powerful presence. Whether the play is in-system or out, Amelia constantly delivers well-placed settings that optimize her hitters' productivity because she is an expert at reading defenses. She is even more dangerous because of her left-handed advantage, which allows her to score by keeping blockers honest with well-timed dumps. She is a highly sought-after talent because of her natural athleticism, fluid ball handling, and high volleyball IQ. Amelia is controlling the game in addition to leading the offensive. She is one to watch as the years progress!     [player_tooltip player_id='734850' first='Naomi' last='Perkins'] is a dominant right-side hitter who brings power and grit to every match. Ranked among the best in the state, Naomi is a relentless offensive weapon, using her volleyball wit and awareness to attack from a variety of angles. She is a problem for blocks because of her explosive approach and powerful arm swing, which constantly tests defenders with her ability to hit hard cross-court, down-line, or tool the block. Beyond her offensive firepower, Naomi excels in all aspects of the game. She has a strong blocking presence at the net, shutting off opposition outside hitters and upsetting attacking plans. She is also fast to transition and constantly prepared to attack. She is a real difference-maker for any team because of her unique ability to read the game and execute quick, decisive moves. Naomi's exceptional blend of power, athleticism, and court awareness makes her a high-impact player who will succeed at the next level and deserves to be in our top 10!     [player_tooltip player_id='752599' first='Caryl' last='Womack'] is an extremely effective and technically proficient middle blocker who thrives on both offense and defense. Her blocking mechanics are exceptional; she eliminates holes by pressing over the net with powerful, well-formed hands, closing seams fast, and maintaining disciplined footwork. She stuffs opposing offenses because of her ability to read setters and foresee the ball's movement. Caryl is a skilled offensive player who can perform a wide variety of attacks. She executes fast-paced sets with perfect timing, guaranteeing an effective attack. Her ability to attack at full extension and jump early provides a trajectory that is steep and challenging to defend. She is still a dependable scoring option whether she is running a quick one, a three, or responding to out-of-system plays. She is an impact player on both sides of the net and earned her way onto our top 10 list!     [player_tooltip player_id='533456' first='Avery' last='Hamilton'] is a dual-threat player who sees time as both a setter and a right-side attacker. She is a great asset on the court because of her ability to switch between creating plays and scoring. Avery is a setter who produces well-timed, hittable balls regardless of pass quality with her placement and location accuracy. She manages a quick-paced offensive and changes the pace to throw blockers off-balance and give her hitters one-on-one chances. Her presence at the net makes things more challenging for opponents. She reads blockers well, using smart shot selection to expose seams and tool defenders. Avery is a top prospect because of her game awareness, adaptability, and capacity to influence play from a variety of positions. She is one to watch in the ranks!
