The championship match was an in club showdown with [program_tooltip program_id='581540' first='501' last='Volley'] 15.1's vs [program_tooltip program_id='581540' first='501' last='Volley'] 16.1's. There were many highly impressive defensive and offensive plays throughout this evenly talented match. The 16.1's showed early dominance winning the first set. The 15.1's battled back even harder to win the second set, forcing the third set tiebreaker. After a hard fought third set, the 15.1's were able to persevere and beat the 16.1's to take gold in the tournament. Sledge picked up line shots from the opposing right side very well. Sledge could nearly always keep her team in system with her defense and her serve receive. Sledge was very impressive in serve receive basically putting the ball in her setters hands to run an effective offense. Everything starts with a pass and Sledge in the back row is a huge reason as to why her 15.1's won the championship game.

[player_tooltip player_id='749851' first='Alexa' last='Robertson'] is an all around scrappy player. Not a very tall player, but her high vertical contributes to a lot of her offensive success. Robertson can hide her shots very well by making it look like she's about to swing hard but then drawing her elbow back last second to roll into the middle. Robertson can hit just about any spot on the court and score just as many points from her shot selection as she can with her hard driven swings.

Davis being the tallest front row player in the championship gave her the advantage of hitting over the block. Her high contact point was hard to defend because there was not much of a block that could stop her. Her ability to hit off of different sets caused the 16.1's block to not be completely timed with her. Davis also put up a huge block that contributed to several points for her 15.1's team.

Myers has a very strong arm that made it difficult for the 15.1's to defend. Myers had to the power to swing right through the block, scoring many points by tooling the block. Going up against blockers who were quite taller than her, Myers was very good at adjusting and swinging around the block. Myers consistently is good at swinging between the seams, and is a huge reason her team was able to win the first set.

Kimball is a very scrappy back row player that can read the opposing attackers very well. Kimball is very consistent in serve receive being able to keep her team in system. Kimball also has some pretty good out of system sets to the pins, controlling what could've been chaos on her side of the net. Kimball made it hard for the 15.1's to put the ball away as she could pick up anything.
