<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past weekend at the Northern Lights Qualifier I was able to wear a few different hats with coaching a 12s team to being the "Prep Dig Scout" for the 15s. A full weekend in Minneapolis with plenty of action downtown at the Minneapolis Convention Center was the perfect way to beat a late winter storm. Although those teams from Texas saying they came from 80 degrees sounded real nice. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are new names from the 15s this past weekend. What is my process? I bounced around the 15s with my camera and notes app open. I watch with the lens of who is making an impact on the court. I write down the team, jersey number, court number and some informal notes so I can go back and look up the athletes to write more articles throughout the week. This can be a certain play, a string of plays, how they communicate with their teammates, or other types of intangibles that are positive.
