The state of Michigan isn't lacking in strong club programs, including some that regularly compete with the best in the nation.

However, there's some club teams that don't get as much attention that are having very good seasons at the 17U level.

Here's three teams that are piling up the wins, and a look at some of their key players.

Crank It 17 Elite Black

This team has put together 23 wins on the club season, placing in the top five of multiple events that is has been in already. Serving has been a strength for this group, as they are racing up big ace totals and keeping opponents off balance. At the net, Crank It has a variety of capable hitters, including [player_tooltip player_id='621464' first='Morgan' last='Janowski'] and Camry Eveningred. The team also has some length at the net in middle Danica DeBell and setters Addilyn Vagi and [player_tooltip player_id='261175' first='Kendal' last='Quain'].

Dynamite 17 Select

This squad has put together over 20 wins and is coming off a Club Division title at the 2025 Great Lakes Festival. This team also serves the ball well, but has a lot of nice role players that do their job to high efficiency. Libero Ruby Pennala is very active in the back row and has racked up dozens of digs each weekend. She's really locked in and doing a great job to keep the offense in-system. Middle Morriah Stewart shows a lot of good things on film. She's got an aggressive swing that she can get off even in out-of-system balls. Outside Sadie Mertes has a strong all-around game. She's been able to provide a lift in all phases.

Force 17 Adidas Select

Force has seen some success this club season, including a win in the 17 Club Division of the Presidents' Day Challenge last month. Natalie West is a setter/hitter combo player that excels in both areas. Her blocking has been very strong as well, as she's been able to lock up left sides in multiple matches. Oliva Smith is a towering hitter that can play anywhere along the net and produces big power when she gets her hands on the ball. Saige Zoro is also a hitter that can get hot in a hurry.
