The Class of 2028 Rankings have added a number of new players to the Watch List.

But, it's always good to try and find the ones that are standing out early in their high school and club careers.

The Class of 2028 has some middle hitters that look like they could be truly elite.

Here's some of the middles that are catching eyes, listed in alphabetical order.

[player_tooltip player_id='569766' first='McKenzie' last='Andrews'], Mercy/Legacy

As a 6'5” middle, you're going to draw a lot of eyes as is. But, Andrews isn't just long arms and legs, she can move and play with a lot of agility. Already a big factor on the block, Andrews is improving on her footwork, pacing and intensity to take her game to another level. As she gets more and more reps against top competition, Andrews should continue to improve.

[player_tooltip player_id='644173' first='Brooklyn' last='Beardsley'], Lake Fenton/Michigan Elite

Another 6-foot talented middle in this class, Bearsley has shown a diverse array of shots and has been able to keep up with a face pace of play. Beardsley has the footwork to stay one step ahead of the defense, which is boding well for her growth as a player. She's got a lot of potential to be a big star in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='569774' first='London' last='Gibson'], Marian/Michigan Elite

Gibson has gotten some big-match experience early on in her prep career and she's looking more confidence and comfortable on the court this club season. Gibson is a middle that can take command when she's rolling. She's got a lot of spring off the floor and can adjust her swing to match the speed of her setters.

[player_tooltip player_id='569773' first='Skylar' last='Ignash'], Cass City/Michigan Elite

A name most in the state of Michigan are familiar with, as [player_tooltip player_id='156307' first='Shelby' last='Ignash'] established herself as one of the best middles in the state for the Class of 2025. Skylar shows similar traits and has the next few years to grow her game. Ignash has the explosiveness, consistency and all-around ability to make any play that is needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='569772' first='Lauren' last='Sheldon'], Stoney Creek/Legacy

Sheldon has shown the ability to also play on the outside, but she has been completely dominant in the middle this club season and emerged as one of the best prospects in the country. She's incredibly explosive, but has great hand/eye coordination to deliver unstoppable attacks. Sheldon's already placed herself at a high level, but still has a high ceiling to keep improving.
