Attention Grabbers at the SLC Showdown

<p>There is no doubt that if you were walking from wall to wall on both sides of the Salt Palace Convention Center during week one of the Salt Lake City Showdown like I was, you couldn't help but notice the enormous amount of talent that was spread through every corner of the facility. 22+ teams from Nevada came to Utah and I sought to uncover talent and introduce you to names you may not have heard before and mix them in with the likes of the rising talent, but you better believe these a just a few of the amazing players that continue to raise the stocks and grab your attention on an IMMEDIATE basis. Take a look at these prospects that grabbed my attention!</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='767317' first='Ainsley' last='Enerson'] is simply cut from a different cloth and she came to the Salt Lake City Showdown and showcased immense talent. Immediately she grabbed my attention when I saw her display very efficient passing and seamless transitions for thunderous down ball attacks, and she kept this performance throughout the entire tournament. The impact she brought to the court through the weekend resulted in the team's success of medaling as the Runner-Up team in the GOLD bracket of the 17s American Division. I had the chance to watch Madelyn Morrison in Utah and she stepped up in such a great way! Not only does the BBC 17 team showcase very effective movement and passing, but Madelyn commands at the net and I mean, she is about the business of succeeding both on offense & defense. This very young athlete came to the Salt Lake City Showdown, and she immediately grabs attention with her stature, hustle and strength and what impressed me more than anything was that she's very coachable! She powers through her hits with ease, and she is an absolute wall to opposing attackers. This left-handed attacker showcased sound approaches, great communication and a healthy hunger that pushed her to stay on top of the ball. She remained consistent and grabbed the attention of anyone watching including her teammates! She fires her squad up and this will be a huge asset for Lily as she continues throughout the remainder of the club season. Next Level Rising 16s bring very effective passing, and this gives the setter nothing but time to drop dimes to her pin-hitters and Kaimani manifested strike after strike. As I watched the Las Vegas Impact group compete, Emily stood out immediately. As a coachable player, Emily communicates very well an makes easy adjustments to the different sets which gives her opportunities to adjust and execute.
