Avoli Committed Athlete – Salt Lake City Showdown Showcase #2

It is being held at the Salt Palace Convention Center and is also live streamed via BallerTV.&nbsp; There were tons of amazing athletes from all over the nation who were giving their all in both the positional drills and also the team scrimmages.&nbsp; We had each of our court coaches watch their team and select one player from each squad that embodied the core values of Avoli.&nbsp; We had multiple submissions for the same athlete and we could not be more proud of who was selected to win this prestigious award.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["767877"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-680048b600ede"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='767877' first='Isabella' last='Frometa'] had her presence felt in many ways throughout the entire showcase.  From the moment we watched her play, it was very apparent that she had something extra about her.  The five-foot elevel class of 2028 middle blocker from Doral Academy in Florida and [program_tooltip program_id='429788' first='Miami' last='Volleyball Club'] astounded all of us at the showcase with her character as a person and with her physical skill set on the court.  A blind person couldn't tell whether she was on the court or off of the court because she sounded the same as she cheered for everyone and motivated them after solid attempts.  It was very refreshing to see her so joyful and it really had an effect on all of us coaches.  Her smile was contagious and you could really see how it rubbed off on all of her teammates each time that you went to her court.  The best part of all of this is that she is only a freshman and will only get better from here.  That is a coach's dream to have on their roster at such a young age.  We were extremely impressed with her leadership skills as she took it upon herself to help direct traffic during plays.  In only a short amount of time, she made it seem like she was the player you have always had on your team for many years. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">As far as her skill work was concerned, she was one of the best middles in the entire showcase.&nbsp; From the moment that she moved, I knew that she was special.&nbsp; She has the fast-twitch muscle fibers that all college coaches will fall in love with. &nbsp;Armed with an uncanny ability to change direction very rapidly, there was never a time when she wasn't in the air ready for a quick tempo set.&nbsp; She also moved laterally very quickly from pin to pin and proved to be a solid defender at the net.&nbsp; Her explosiveness off of the ground is matched by the speed of her down swing to make the perfect dynamic middle.&nbsp; We think she has such a bright future ahead of her in the game of volleyball and cannot wait to watch her journey.&nbsp; We strongly encourage each of you to watch it with us as you will not be disappointed in what you see.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At the very end of the showcase, when we announced the award she was so humble accepting the award and that told me that we picked the right young lady to represent it.&nbsp;
