Show Me Qualifier: Dynamic Pin Hitters from the Lone Star State

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>BID season continues at full pace and, with the USAV Girls Junior National Championship just over two months away, club volleyball teams from Texas continue to add significant mileage to their loyalty cards as they travel around the country to compete in National Qualifiers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This weekend, the destination for many of them will be Kansas City, where one of the most popular events of the club season, the Show Me Qualifier, is set to take place from Saturday to Monday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over 750 teams from all over the country are set to compete across the ten divisions in the 15s, 16s, and 17s age groups, and among them are several Texas teams. These squads count on some of the most talented prospects in the Lone Star State, and we're taking the week to feature a few of them. She's an extremely technical player, who handles her defensive duties very well and also delivers offensively at the net. Lagasse is very explosive with her offensive approach, gets off the floor well and has a skilled and vivid right arm that allows her to score in any situation - she's lethal when working with a quick set at the pin and making a last-second push to swing line. A six-footer, she's one of the team's main offensive weapons and she does an excellent job of using her length to consistently put the ball down, be it by overpowering opposing blockers or by expanding her range and finding great angles with her swings. Besides being powerful, Benningfield is also very versatile offensively, being capable of swinging from the left, the right, and the middle, where she used to play. An extremely explosive offensive player, she's also very resourceful and can carry her team's offense with great consistency thanks to her never-ending energy and her ability to read the game. Morrow does a very good job of using her arms to gain momentum in her approach and that contributes to her impressive leaping ability. She used to play on the right with her former club [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last=''], but has been appearing on the left since she joined Excel. Potter certainly has all the skills needed to succeed in the position, as she has solid technical foundations in her game and is an outstanding offensive player, combining length, power and excellent decision-making.
