This will be the 6th year for Volley Palooza. This tournament tends to be used as a great tune up before Regionals the following week. It is not uncommon to see tough teams play up a division in hopes of being pushed and prepared. We see that with a handful of teams such as TPV 14-1, Charge Tulsa 13 UA and Virago 14-1. Let's take a look at the 15s division and some top players to keep and eye on.

Tulsa Power 14-1: The #1 overall seed AND #1 ranked 14s team in Oklahoma. Sitting at 48th in the NATION and 36-8 on the season. They are the Jingle Jam (played up in 15s) and Tulsa Attack champions. They also are fresh off a 2nd place finish at Lone Star National Qualifier where they received a USAV bid to nationals! [player_tooltip player_id='573387' first='Kaidyn' last='Johnson'] and Sarah Goodwin are both standout players for this crew but I will tell you what, Reagan Pitts, Averi Miller and Khloe Rogers are a few players to keep an eye on as well!

Charge Tulsa 13UA: The #2 overall seed and boasts a top 10 finish at Lone Star National Qualifier in the Liberty division. Most of these players graduate in 2030 and I may have just gotten another gray hair just typing this. Despite their youth, they are not scared to play up an age, wait make that TWO! They are really eyeing that regional championship next weekend. Players to keep an eye on: London Essex, Emily Marshall and Kennedy Cain. This team is led by club director and current head coach at Jenks, Steph Kane. Would be worth the price of admission to see her and Tanna Smith go toe to toe in the gold bracket!

UPVBC 14 Pink: The #3 overall seed and has won the Big Show and Adidas Classic earlier this season. They are a team you don't want to underestimate. They are poised to make a run at their third championship this season and add Volleypalooza champ to the list. Players to watch: Finley Gehring, Kodi O'Brien, and Sylvie VanTrase.

Virago 14-1: The #5 overall seed and my sleeper pick. Former Jenks coach, Tanna Smith, always puts a good team on the court. Six rotation player, Karis Pratt, can absolutely go! She has a great approach and solid power in her swing. Mix in Autry Odell and Alana Holt help timelyu plays. Finally, Ellie Sartin, in the back row often passes in serve recieve with just Pratt to help out. She can cover some ground and read the ball well. Look for this team to make a splash at the end.

Good luck to all the teams this weekend. There are a ton of big things on the horizon here in Oklahoma. We have our 2028 Rankings and our very own Stock Up Showcase coming soon. Use code: JacksonDig2025 to save some money when you sign up! We also are less than two months away from schools beginning their summer leagues and therefore we will start seeing and covering high school teams.
