–

June 15th is right around the corner and you know what that means... A LOT of talk about those insane 2027 athletes. While this may be another wicked class for the Mitten state, I would propose to not solely shift your attention to those 27s quite yet. Man, there is still SO much talent left on the table from the 2026 class.

From long time standouts finding an extra pep in their step, to late bloomers bursting onto the scene like mad men. The 2026 group has so much yet to offer that you must look out for.

There is still so much talent left to offer, we're going to have to break this down in a couple different parts! In it's third part, here's a look at FORTY (40!) uncommitted 2026 stars out of Michigan that you can't miss!

[player_tooltip player_id='586761' first='Alexis' last='Carper'] - Roscommon

This is an athlete that could really play underdog in this 2026 class. [player_tooltip player_id='586761' first='Alexis' last='Carper'] is a middle blocker out of the Northern Michigan area. One for little accessibility to high level club volleyball, not many may know about her, but should. Carper is one of those athletes that you can throw the ball up to just about anywhere on the court and she'll make work. While listed as a middle blocker, Carper could make for one heck of a pin attacker. She has a heavy arm and jumps well.

[player_tooltip player_id='631464' first='Mya' last='Eberlein'] - Edwardsburg/NIVA

[player_tooltip player_id='631464' first='Mya' last='Eberlein'] has been coming on very strong in the latter parts of her prep career and could be another steal type player. She's long and lengthy, Eberlein naturally takes up great space at the net. She continues to grow in her agility and movement around the court. When everything comes together, this middle blocker can be deadly. She's the kind that a program could really take a chance on and find themselves with quite the dandy.

[player_tooltip player_id='732275' first='Annika' last='Platte'] - Pewamo-Westphalia/Attack

Pewamo-Westphalia has been one quite the roll over the last few years delivering some top notch talent. [player_tooltip player_id='732275' first='Annika' last='Platte'] should be added to that list. On the outside pin, Platte has vastly grown into a player that can carry a high volume of swings. She sees the court well and continues to up her game with every time she competes.

[player_tooltip player_id='728154' first='Nikki' last='Fedewa'] - Pewamo-Westphalia/Attack

Right alongside Platte, [player_tooltip player_id='728154' first='Nikki' last='Fedewa'] is another P-W/Attack product that could really shake some things up at the next level. Fedewa is a lengthy middle blocker with loads of potential. Where Platte has been a recognizable face for the PW program for a little while now, Fedewa has really come bursting onto the scenes in more recent memory. She continues to boost her stock with her growth in her speed of the game. Fedewa is closing blocks much more efficiently and honing in a prowess in her attacking.

[player_tooltip player_id='489939' first='Vivian' last='Jones'] - Brighton/L2

Some times all it takes is time. And that seems to be exactly the case for [player_tooltip player_id='489939' first='Vivian' last='Jones']. From the looks of it, nobody has had quite the glow up in a singular season like Jones has had in this one. After sitting on the sidelines throughout her 16s season with a broken leg, Jones returned to the courts with L2 this winter on their 2s team. After finding a ton of success, the next thing you know, she was killing it on their 171s squad.

Jones is looking to have tapped in to her size and physicality. With every time she steps onto the court, she looks to be hitting harder, higher, and smarter. She's been seen to terminate extremely well on both pins, and even in the middle. This could potentially be the steal of the 2026 class with her current trajectory.

[player_tooltip player_id='490361' first='Aleah' last='Brackett'] - Bronson/Team Pineapple

Bronson used to be one of the most prolific programs in the State of Michigan. Quiet in recent years, they have been getting tons of recent buzz due to the emergence of [player_tooltip player_id='490361' first='Aleah' last='Brackett'] at the setters position. From the small town, Brackett carries a lot of athleticism, playing multiple varsity sports and killing it on the volleyball courts. As for her position, this all bodes her extremely well when you're thinking long term and development.

[player_tooltip player_id='240701' first='Giselle' last='Burlingame'] - Northville/L2

While I may say that I am shocked that this player is still on the uncommitted radar, I am also very aware and wouldn't be surprised if we hear a commitment announcement from her any day now. [player_tooltip player_id='240701' first='Giselle' last='Burlingame'] has become a staple in the 2026 Class' libero/DS group. She has been the long standing libero for her L2 squads and was the libero on the championship winning Northville team this fall. Burlingame has spent years behind some extremely strong liberos like Taryn Rice (UNI), Greta McKee (Wright State) and Ashlee Gnau (Syracuse). She has hung around the best and could very much make her argument as one herself.

[player_tooltip player_id='747097' first='Darby' last='Crystal'] - Davison/Legacy

This player has really seen her stock take an upward trajectory after moving clubs this past season. [player_tooltip player_id='747097' first='Darby' last='Crystal'] has always been blessed with great size and physicality. She's now been putting everything together and finding a lot of success on the courts at a high level. With Legacy, Crystal has been in and out of the middle and right side, where she looks incredibly strong in both. Her size and heavy arm is a dangerous combo on the right pin.

[player_tooltip player_id='226945' first='Jayla' last='Zayti'] - Marian/Legacy

[player_tooltip player_id='226945' first='Jayla' last='Zayti'] is another player that surprises me to still be on the look out for her next home. Zayti has been a strong presence amongst the middle blockers in this class throughout her career. Once a starter on Michigan Elite's top teams, Zayti has switched over to Legacy's 2s team and has continued to find success. She has also cemented herself a starter for the Marian Mustangs this fall, one of the top high school programs in Michigan currently.

Zayti's overall game continues to grow. An extremely talented jumper, Zayti can touch near 10'0 at her max jump. Combine this with a quick arm, when she connects with the set, Zayti finds the point more times than not.
