New Additions: Five “Deep Diggers” Added To ’27 Rankings

She has also recorded back-to-back seasons with 400-plus serve receptions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='734373' first='Meghan' last='Hundley']</strong>, 5'3”, DS/L, Maur Hill Prep</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A second prep school defender will be joining the ranking. Raven libero, Hundley, recorded 391 digs in 89 sets during her sophomore season. Thimmesch is a young defender to keep an eye on. She will join the rankings after a sophomore season with 150 digs in 98 sets played.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='748145' first='Dasno' last='Mills']</strong>, 5'11”, MB/OH, Royal Valley</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mills is a six-rotation athlete who can play defense and hit with authority. Her sophomore stat line included 280 digs, 272 serve receptions, 181 kills, and 46 blocks for the Panthers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='757275' first='Taylor' last='Brammell']</strong>, 5'3”, S/DS, Mission Valley</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brammell is a talented setter who also plays great defense. Based on her height she might be best considered as a defensive specialist by college coaches. She finished her sophomore season with 257 digs and 349 assists.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
