Team Spotlight: Force VC 15-1 National

[program_tooltip program_id='432186' first='Force' last='Volleyball Club'] has steadily been increasing their presence on the OVR seen as they have good prospects throughout their teams, are engaged in competitive tournament schedules, and improving and making gains each time they are evaluated. Here is a look at their top 15U team and some of their key prospects as they get set for Summerfest.    Dunmire can spark her team with her offense. Through different attack points she can terminate with good purpose in her action overall. She has good movement in her approach patterns and momentum build while also displaying good lift, court awareness and arm control to exploit space in front of her with power or touch.     The 5'8 Myers has a good offensive foundation that allows her to produce a lot of points for this team mostly from the left side of the court. She jumps well and uses a fundamentally sound swing in the air. Her athleticism benefits her in allowing aggressive plays even in out-of-rhythm situations.     Bender is the primary setter for this team and does a good job of balancing her options as they have some good depth across the net. She gets to the ball well with good touch. Her location range in both directions, force control, and ability to push middles more will grow if she can get to contact with her hands higher above her forehead more consistently. She does good work overall.     The athleticism for this team does not end with their pins. Springer is a middle, at 5'9, with good springs and quickness to fill her role well on both sides of the ball. When she gives herself space off the net she can use her touch point well with good control to swing at the edges of the block. Improved timing will increase her efficiency.     Riebe helps to form a competitive duo in the middle as she has equally effective tools as a hitter and in her blocking presence. She has good length and tracks the ball well in transition to contact well at the top of her lift. With good balance she can move the ball around through both sides of the court.     A primary libero for this team, Miozzi can make a good impact defensively. Mainly out of the left back position, she digs effectively with her platform out front and away from her body, which allows her to create good angles to absorb the force of the attack and get her setter into good situations. Her role helps lead their first-touch effort and get their varied offense going.     Mays is a true utility athlete for this team this season as she has a good balance of tools while also making contributions with her passing, defense, and in taking swings on the outside. In the back row is where she looks the most fluid with her quickness in reaction and movement in both serve receive and defense, in which she can create good effort and range.
