Student-athletes have shown out for college coaches as they're searching for recruits for their rosters.   Here's a group of 2026s fitting that description:    Clark paced the Sabers with 221 kills as a junior last season. She added 99 digs and 13.0 blocks. The versatile athlete has carried over that success to this club campaign. She jumps quickly with excellent elevation. She finishes with a whip swing that gives defenses headaches. Clark arrives at the net with a plan based on where she sees holes on the other side of it. Clark's athletic ability leaves open the possibility of her helping at other positions, too.     Kroyman stood out as a key contributor last season for the Go-Hawks. She came up with 474 digs, chipping in 51 assists and 18 kills. She's raised an already impressive game more this club campaign lining up with Adrenaline. Kroyman can be counted on during serve-receive and when facing tough attacks. She moves well laterally and covers a lot of the court. Kroyman delivers crisp passes using sound technique. She communicates in the back row, helping keep everybody on the same page.     I watched Hiemstra at the state tournament, when she helped the Dutch reach the Class 4A state championship match. She came up with 197 digs during that run. I scouted Hiemstra again during this club campaign. She'd made noticeable progress, especially in improving her consistency. Hiemstra slides her feet quickly to make plays others cannot. She's a precise passer and is vocal. Pella returns a lot from its special 2024 squad, and Hiemstra will be a lead character in that production.     I've scouted Nora Dodson in person twice since last prep season. She was making plays for Bondurant-Farrar at the Benton Tournament. For IPVA, she looked to have raised her level of play even more. That should be good news for the Bluejays, who she led with 302 kills in 2024. She chipped in 70 digs and 21.0 blocks as well. Dodson appears comfortable and is effective in the middle or at a pin. She jumps well and has long arms. Dodson was left off the all-state team last year. Don't bet on that happening again.     Bryte stood out to me when I saw Hempstead play in person at Iowa City High last season. She did her best work at the pin as evidence by her 102 kills. Bryte's 126 digs and 17.0 blocks proved she is an all-around sound volleyball player, however. This club campaign, she reinforced that. Bryte also has developed her game since the prep season. The Mustangs graduated two of their top contributors from 2024, so expect Bryte to take another step forward in the fall.     Helmuth helped the Golden Hawks reach the state tournament in 2024. The junior dished out 394 assists and came up with 133 digs. Mid-Prairie will be replacing a Division I player lost to graduation, but most of the other production returns. That includes Helmuth, who has sharpened her skills this club campaign. The consistency of her sets improved. Helmuth is making good decisions and communicating with teammates.
