We are looking forward to week 2 of summer league! Good luck to all the players who are putting in the work to make this year the best one yet. Summer league is just the start.

[player_tooltip player_id='746719' first='Rainey' last='White']- Outside Hitter for Pryor. Rainey is going to be a senior and she has already led her team to a handful of wins in summer league. She is a well rounded player who can play all 6 rotations. When she is in the front row she has tremendous power in her swing, digs well as the off blocker and is always calling to be set. When in the back row she is still the Tigers kill leader. You have to keep an eye out for her at all times.

Kaydence O'Brien- Outside Hitter for Verdigris. Kaydence had a solid club season with Owasso Summit and now it's time to take her talents back to Verdigris. Much like Rainey, she is able to play all 6 rotations effectively. She has a solid float serve that has plenty of velocity to cause passers to struggle. She also has a good approach that allows her to gain as much momentum as possible. Look for her to be a big part of this year's offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='740632' first='Aaliyah' last='Carter']- Outside Hitter for Union. Aaliyah had one of the most obvious jumps in ability from this past club season. She struggled in the back row and with consistency while hitting. Those problems have gone away and she is shining. She is going to be a real threat on Union's varsity this season. She does a great job with her mechanics while in serve receive from her footwork to platform. She has gained a much larger range when attacking and has developed a love for the power push off the block.

[player_tooltip player_id='297074' first='Emily' last='Whitten']- Defensive Specialist for Oologah. Emily is still the foundation at Oologah. She holds down seemingly the entire back row. She can cover a large range in transition and in serve receive. She is also a very consistent and accurate server. She can mix in a short serve and disguise it well to throw off the opposing side. She will continue to be one of the best in her conference.

Corinne Kabel- Middle Blocker for Edison. Corinne was such an impactful player for her team. She had a great serve and got on several runs for the Eagles. She is a left handed middle blocker, which is unconventional but she plays the position well. She got a hold of a few balls for a kill, as well as put away a few overpass balls. None of which is where she may hold the most value, she has such great energy. She makes all of her teammates play better when she is on the court. Her consistent enthusiasm and cheering is contagious.
