Boyd brings versatility to the Centurions. Boyd could not play travel ball this spring season as the result of an injury. However, she has done weight training and private lessons to stay sharp for her junior season. Boyd is a hustler on the court, only diving when necessary to keep plays alive. Boyd makes the routine first touches consistently under control for two to three-point passes. Boyd is also a great communicator on the court. Boyd had 207 digs and 53 aces, helping the Centurions go 32-5, winning the 2A state championship and driving back to the 7th Region Tournament.

Brown is trying to turn into a versatile player for the Cats. Brown has a tough jump serve. Brown is a fearless defensive specialist, making the routine first passes, yet not afraid to go as far as possible trying to keep plays alive. Brown can handle hard-hit balls and quickly move in position to dig up the soft ones. Brown can record big kills for Bell County when needed. She is not afraid to call for balls then put soft hits near shallow lines. Brown had 370 digs and 93 aces this past fall, helping the Cats go 28-11 and make the 13th Region semifinals.

With the graduation of the top four digs leaders, Flener may be asked to pick things up to fill in some big roles for the Eagles. Flener does a good job getting in sound position for the Eagles. She reacts quickly to dig up balls and keep plays alive, aligning up well with her blockers. Flener also does a good job protecting at the net on blocked balls. Flener had 183 digs this past fall, helping Ohio County win 20 games and make it back to the 3rd Region Tournament.

Camenzind did get some varsity experience last year and could take up a big role for the tradition-rich Bruins this fall with the graduation of the top three digs leaders. Camenzind watches her blockers and the opposing hitters well and slides good directions to dig up balls. Camenzind can go to either side to dig up balls and keep plays alive.
