She is very enthusiastic on the court, pushing herself and her teammates after each point. On defense, Peters hustles hard after balls, constantly trying to steady her arms and hit the setters in the front row. Peters also has a number of surprises to keep defenders guessing. Her versatility being able to play at all six spots speaks character of her work ethic. She does not let mistakes throw her off her game. When she goes up, swings hard and snaps her wrist, balls go flying to the floor. Dugan knows the hot spots for her hitters and does everything possible to hit those targets. Dugan is especially effective on the 32 sets. She has great range on defense and executes line drive serves well. She understands where the hitters are and continually anticipates balls well.
