Game-Changing Middles at FAST Pre-Nationals 15s Division

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship is just around the corner, and club volleyball teams from the entire country are currently finalizing their preparation for the most important tournament of the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last week, teams from Texas had a great opportunity to test themselves and fine-tune their games before making the trip to Dallas in less than ten days at the FAST Pre-Nationals, one of the most popular tournaments held a few weeks before the GJNC. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/06/fast-pre-nationals-15s-day-1-photos/">FAST Pre-Nationals : 15s Division - Photos</a></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig was in attendance at the FAST Complex on Saturday, the first day of the event, following the top three pools in the 15s division. A six-footer, Mack is also extremely physical and she did a good job of overpowering opponents at the net on both sides of the ball. Mack was nearly unstoppable offensively, as, besides making contact with the ball at a very high point, she was also able to put a lot of pressure into her swings, making it very hard for opposing defenders to control them. Playing with great energy at the net, she helped her team compete for points and made a big impact with her game. Vogelmeier was a solid scoring option for her team, using her ability to hit different sets in the middle and her excellent footwork, which helped her be available even in transition, to have a big offensive role. The middle was one of their standouts, using her length and physicality to dominate the net. Parker was a very interesting offensive weapon for BCS Skyline, and not many opponents were able to slow her down because of her high contact point - she also hit from the right on some occasions and did well. Despite being a little bit undersized, she played with tremendous power at the net, bringing a lot of intensity every time she went up to make plays at the net. Pedescleaux had great success in her offensive actions, using her incredible vertical to get really high up at the net and hitting a very quick set right off the hands of her setter that gave opponents no time to react. A versatile player, she appeared in the middle when I got to watch her and had a very solid performance, displaying solid athleticism and excellent decision-making. Mize showed to have an incredibly heavy right arm, putting a lot of weight into her swings, but she also knew the best moments to score off tips.
