So here is the skinny.

There are numerous standout volleyball players in Kansas, and the State has become a hotbed for recruiting top talent.

Prep Dig makes every attempt to cover as many of these talented athletes as possible. Yet, not all athletes get the same amount of coverage.

There are plenty of quality players in the state who are not included in the rankings, and there are players in the rankings who don't get enough coverage.

The three factors that have the largest impact on a player getting coverage and being recruited are: have they been seen by a scout or coach; does that player have public stats available; and can scouts and coaches find game film on athletes.

Here is a report on five athletes I have not yet seen compete in person, but who do have public stats.
