From relentless back row defense to front row firepower, the level of intensity on the court is undeniable.   Today was also Pink Day, and the message was clear—play with purpose. From headbands to shoelaces, players showed their support while still putting up highlight-reel performances across all divisions.   With over 1,000 teams competing, it's impossible to catch everyone—but the athletes who made my Day 2 list are the ones who stood out in key moments. From tempo-setters to terminal attackers to shutdown blockers, these players made a statement.   Let's dive in.    [player_tooltip player_id='753404' first='Siri' last='Bach'] is putting together a standout tournament performance. She plays the middle blocker position with a high-level volleyball IQ that shows in every touch—reading the setter early, timing her block well, and adjusting to fast-paced offenses without hesitation.   What separates Siri is the skill behind her attacks. She's not just swinging hard—she's attacking with intention. Whether it's a quick in-system ball, a well-timed slide, or an off-speed tip into the gap, Siri finds ways to score efficiently.   She also moves well laterally, closes blocks with discipline, and stays vocal in transition. Her presence on the court is steady, smart, and impactful.   Coaches—this is a middle who understands the game, executes with precision, and competes at a high level. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     Macey Davis is already committed, and it shows—she plays with the confidence and polish of a next-level libero. Her defensive reads are sharp, her platform is clean, and her ability to keep plays alive in high-pressure moments sets her apart.   She stays low, moves with urgency, and consistently gets her team back in system. Whether it's a seam ball in serve receive or a full-extension dig in transition, Macey is locked in and always one step ahead.   She communicates with purpose, leads with composure, and plays with a competitive edge that reflects her college-ready game.   She's already taken the next step—and she's playing like it. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     Maddie Altstiel is making her presence felt at the net. As a front row attacker, she brings aggressive swings, smart shot selection, and a relentless drive to score. Whether it's high off the hands, deep corner, or tooling the block, Maddie knows how to terminate plays.   Her footwork in transition is fast and clean, allowing her to be available and in rhythm on every play. She's not just swinging hard—she's swinging smart, adjusting to block setups and reading the defense mid-air.   Maddie also brings vocal energy and competitive grit that gives her team momentum during tight stretches.   She's a go-to attacker you can count on to finish plays and swing big in big moments. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='745814' first='Aubrielle' last='Perry'] is the kind of outside hitter who makes an instant impact when she's in the front row. She brings a strong, high-contact swing and has the ability to score from the left pin with confidence and control. Her approach is smooth, and she stays aggressive no matter the set.   What stands out is her ability to see the block, make smart decisions, and use a variety of shots—cross-court, line, or off-speed into open space. She competes with fire and stays locked in at the net, always looking to put pressure on the defense.   Even without playing six rotations, Aubrielle maximizes every touch and brings value every time she steps on the court. She runs fast-tempo sets, connects well with her setter, and finds ways to score—whether it's a clean quick, a high-contact swing off the slide, or a smart tip into space.   She plays with urgency in transition and stays vocal on the court, anchoring the net with both presence and production.   Coaches, if you're looking for a middle who brings both timing and toughness—Lola's your pick. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='765227' first='Hannah' last='Nesdahl'] is showing out in the backcourt with sharp reads, fast reactions, and a steady platform that keeps her team in system. As a DS/Libero, she plays with confidence, communicates early, and makes the hard plays look routine.   She tracks the ball well off the serve and attacks seams with control in serve receive. In transition, Hannah moves with urgency, stays low, and gets her feet around the ball to deliver clean first contact—even under pressure.   She may fly under the radar, but she's doing the gritty work that wins rallies.
