15 Lights Out Pins from 15 States – USAV GJNC Showcase 2: Part 3

This is the final article of my three-part series on 15 Lights Out Pins from 15 States. These pins were absolute powerhouses that stood out to me, even while I was doing virtual coverage all the way from Wisconsin!

Check out Part 1 of the series here.

Check out Part 2 of the series here.

Kanani jumped onto my radar with her great balance of power and placement. When it came to gameplay, she set herself apart as a well-rounded and dynamic athlete who was talented in serve receive and executed well in passing to attack. Kanani thrived in transition and didn't miss a beat even during chaotic plays.

Mia was one of the craftiest players on the court at the Showcase. She had an entire toolbox of high-level shots and seemed to know exactly how to execute with each set she received. Whether it was the no-look tip to the deep corner, a quick punch over the block, or a huge rip down the seam, Mia terminated with quick efficiency. She also played high-level defense and was quick to transition into offense.

Branna made the notes app early in the showcase because of her discipline and adjustments on the court. Showcases can separate those who can make quick adjustments to playing with new athletes and in new drills, and Brianna did that seamlessly. She looked right at home at the Showcase and was a team player who played at a high level throughout.

Giana was an absolute stud at the Showcase. She could consistently paint the sideline with her line shots. Giana's massive vertical and aggressive mindset set her apart at the showcase, and she was not afraid to take risks and let swings rip. Typically, this paid off in her favor!

Avery Robson wowed me throughout the showcase. Her talent on the right side was next level, and she had an incredible amount of power and ball control that was nearly unstoppable. Avery's line shots were particularly lethal, and she was tough to stop no matter where she was swinging.
