The 1,000 kill mark isn't just a number. It's a milestone that takes years of hard work, consistency, and showing up big for your team. This group of athletes has been doing just that. They've been putting up big numbers year after year, and heading into the 2025 season, a few are on the edge of joining one of the most respected clubs in Arkansas high school volleyball.

Whether they're sitting just over 800 or halfway there with another season to go, these hitters are the real deal and they're not done yet. Here's a look at the seniors and juniors on pace to break into the 1,000 Kill Club.

[player_tooltip player_id='808123' first='Michaelyn' last='Freeman'] – Hackett (882 career kills)
Freeman led the entire state last season with 449 kills. A dynamic and explosive hitter, she's already carved her name into Hackett history with back-to-back-to-back deep postseason runs, a State Championship win in 2024, and securing Gatorade Player of the Year last season as well. With just 118 kills to go, the 1,000 mark feels like a guarantee, the bigger question is how far past it she'll go.

[player_tooltip player_id='743705' first='Wren' last='Jones'] – Conway (641 career kills)
Don't let her current total fool you, Wren is lethal. She was second in the state last season with 434 kills, and her game only continues to evolve. If she matches or exceeds last year's production, she'll fly past the 1,000 mark and then some. Conway fans should buckle up for a record-shattering senior campaign. In 2024, Wren was a 6A State Champion and MaxPreps Arkansas Player of the Year.

[player_tooltip player_id='749415' first='Lydia' last='Matthews'] – Mayflower (755 career kills)
Lydia finished fourth in Arkansas last year with 428 kills. She enters her final season just 245 kills away from the club, and given her upward trend, that goal is well within reach. Expect Matthews to be an anchor for Mayflower once again with 1,000 in sight. Matthews has elite teammates like [player_tooltip player_id='744606' first='Miranda' last='Leslie'] in the backrow ready to deliver perfect passes and out-of-system sets to help Lydia earn this milestone.

[player_tooltip player_id='808122' first='Chloe' last='Blessing'] – Shiloh Christian (885 career kills)
[player_tooltip player_id='808122' first='Chloe' last='Blessing'] is a talented attacker and teams across the state know it. After putting up 410 kills last season and finishing fifth in Arkansas, she's now just 115 away from joining the 1,000 Kill Club. And with the way Shiloh's offense runs, that number won't take long. Opponents can scout her, plan for her, even triple block her but stopping her is a different story. The 1,000 mark is coming, and there's a good chance she'll pass it while doing damage along the way. Chloe was a 5A State Champion in 2024, along with numerous other awards and accolades.

[player_tooltip player_id='743939' first='Audrey' last='Calva'] – Bentonville West (557 career kills)
She may be the youngest on this list, but don't sleep on Calva. After a breakout season with 416 kills as a sophomore, she's building momentum toward a massive junior year. With two seasons left, the 1,000 mark isn't just reachable, it's inevitable if she keeps this pace. Expect her name to climb the leaderboard fast. If Calva has another breakout season, it is possible for Audrey to earn this honor sooner than most think.
