Multi-Sport Kansas Athlete Makes College Decision

She is ranked No. 130 overall by Prep Dig and No. 15 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. She has a ton of bounce in her step, which she utilizes in both sports for the Red Raiders. Hecht could make a run at reaching the 1,000-career benchmark in both kills and digs during her senior season. She has great court vision on the basketball court and can score equally well from deep or in transition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='731767' first='Morgan' last='Froese']</strong>, 5'11”, MB, Inman, '26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Inman's Froese remains on the board as one of my favorite multi-sport athletes yet to commit. She is ranked No. 35 overall by Prep Dig Kansas and No. 151 on Prep Girls Hoop Kansas. &nbsp;She is a double-double on the basketball court and a blocking machine on the volleyball court. &nbsp;She finished with an eye-popping 217 blocks last season for the Teutons, and she posted solid numbers in the Class 2A State Basketball Tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='357548' first='Reese' last='Huscher']</strong>, 5'8”, OH, Hayden, '26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>So, there is a lot to unpack when reporting on Hayden's Huscher. She is a gifted volleyball player for both the Wildcats and Topeka Saints, but she often gets overlooked by me, because she plans to play soccer at the next level. Soccer is the one team sport I have never had an affinity for. Keeping soccer stats when I worked for a college sports information department was like pulling teeth. Yet, Huscher has verbally committed to utilizing her skills on the pitch for Washburn University after graduation.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='516229' first='Havana' last='Olander']</strong>, 5'7, MB, Little River, '26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Olander is ranked by both Prep Dig and Prep Girls Hoops for her athletic skills. She is ranked No. 218 overall by Prep Girls Hoops and No. 153 overall by Prep Dig.&nbsp; Olander helped Little River win the Class 1A-DI Volleyball State Championship last season and followed that up with a second-place finish in the state basketball tournament. She is a stat monster in both sports, tallying 309 kills and 52 blocks as a junior. Then averaging 10.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.6 steals during the basketball campaign.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
