We have games of the week and then we have this! This matchup is something that every college coach should be at if they want to see a battle and see plenty of college level players. The 9th, JV and the Varsity matches all have something to offer. These teams had 61 wins combined just last season! Both crews have started the year on fire with a combined 12 total wins combined. CCS just finished winning the Norman Inv which was the tournament of the week, going a perfect 5-0. This included TWO wins over the 5A state champs, MSM. OCS also just finished a tournament this past weekend, where they made it to the championship match. They fell to a very talented OKC Storm team in the 5th set 11-15.

8/19 OCS AT Community Christian

A clash of two of the best private schools in the state of Oklahoma! CCS was the runner up in class 4A and OCS was a semi finlaist in class 5A. Both are clearly accustomed to winning and doing it at a high level. Last season CCS traveled to OCS where the home field advantage prevield. However, a few weeks later OCS got revenge inside the conference tournament. Both crews are loaded with current college commits and mulitple future commits. Lets start with the backrow play, [player_tooltip player_id='752752' first='Emma' last='Rogers'] and [player_tooltip player_id='715182' first='Isabella' last='Robberson'] have taken over the helm at CCS and will look to pick up right where they left off from this weekend. Then you have, Abilene Christian commit, [player_tooltip player_id='314473' first='Pierson' last='Smith'] commaning the offense. She is one a 10 player in this senior class for a reason. If you havent seen her play, you NEED to. [player_tooltip player_id='391123' first='Stella' last='Wishon'] is a front row nightmare for teams. She is not someone to leave unblocked at the net and definitely not someone to swing directly at. [player_tooltip player_id='805394' first='Emery' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='247818' first='Ava' last='Bell'] were top notch scoring options that likely only got better with another year under their belts. I do however think that OCS makes it all the way to the state championship in class 5A this season! [player_tooltip player_id='301381' first='Rachel' last='Megna'] is an absolute stud that cranks out perfect SR passes like a machine. There is obviosu reason why TU signed her to the team. [player_tooltip player_id='505685' first='Miley' last='Myers'] is hungry for her last ride as a Saint before she goes down to UT Tyler and shows texas what these Oklahoma players are all about. She has tremendous drive and a powerful swing to boot. We cant forget the talented [player_tooltip player_id='837537' first='Rylee' last='Roof'], [player_tooltip player_id='827677' first='Reese' last='Harjo'] and the unbelievably good [player_tooltip player_id='739808' first='Marley' last='Robbins'] that all rotate up front. I would be shocked if either team could pull off a sweep in this matchup.

Shoutout to all the parents, players, refs, and coaches that make Oklahoma volleyball what it is. We have grown leaps and bounds each and every season. We have more and more college level players committing and getting to play the game we love even longer.
