Eden put up monster numbers of 495 kills, putting her total to 763. After a solid club season, she has developed a tremendous defensive game and will be one of the top all-around players in Class 3.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='232326' first='Claudia' last='Jones'] – Cape Notre Dame</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With all the ups and downs for the Bulldogs, the one thing that has stayed the same is Claudia's play. The sensational setter is the top returning setter in Class 3 with a career total of 2465. With the ball in Claudia's hands, the Bulldogs have put together a 71-24-8 record. If Claudia could get ND to the final four, it would solidify her place in ND lore.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='828205' first='Dorothy' last='Durrill'] – MICDS</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>May, as they call her, is one of the best middle blockers in Class 3 and the state. A workhorse in the middle is a presence hard not to worry about. A player who has a ton of potential still in her game and made history last year with MICDS becoming the school's first All-State player, as a sophomore. May finished with 420 kills to go along with 86 blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='828531' first='Kali' last='Adamec'] – Odessa</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kali helped Odessa reach its first final four behind her 990 career kills and 504 career digs. The 6'1” outside hitter is capable of taking over matches with her height and athleticism. If she can get Odessa back to a final four, she will be Odessa's best player in school history. She might already be that player.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='809647' first='Hailey' last='Buckman'] – Rogersville</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hailey gets on the list for what she did at the final four. The 6'0” middle is also one of the best basketball players in the SWMO area. She returns with 268 kills and 126 career blocks. An overall athletic player with plenty of firepower whose numbers are not flashy, but what she does on the court always puts her team in a position to win.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='808022' first='Lyla' last='Beetsma'] – Chillicothe</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>No one has done more for her school's volleyball program than Lyla. The season before Lyla arrived, the Hornets won 10 games, and last year they finished 23-4. Lyla is nearing 1000 career kills with 924 and counting, 988 digs, 326 assists and the teams top passer. If Lyla can get the Hornets to St. Joseph, the arena will be packed with Hornets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
