Last Team Tune Up – Mustang Scrimmage Notes

She is a player you want on your team, whether she's playing Lib, DS, Setter, or even filling in at a pin. Reagan has an excellent instinct and a high volleyball IQ that shows every time she steps on the floor. There are times when I feel the other team just wishes she would take a break or rotate out. Through different lineups, it seems like Taryn is always diving in and making a great play to keep a ball alive. She kept doing it against all of the competition she faced this Saturday at the Mustang Scrimmage. I was happy to see Addison Thompson get some run at a pin early and get used to this tougher competition. With early touches, rapid experience for some of these younger players will help the program's future. Cali impressed me with her consistency with her pins, but more importantly, with her ability to keep [player_tooltip player_id='828342' first='Payton' last='Milhoan'] involved early and often. From the game I watched, where they worked together, they'll be keeping opposing front lines on their toes to stay honest in the middle and account for all options, without cheating out. She was smooth on her feet and kept everything clean.
