Sloane is all in on the court and proves herself to be an asset to any team, playing JV &amp; Varsity! She puts the ball where it needs to be and recovers plays that seem lost. A bright enthusiastic player on and off the court! This girl is not afraid to dig to get the ball in action and has athleticism to make the play flow seamlessly. You know when Peyton is on the court because you can hear the ball contact three courts away! This girl can swing, and she's not afraid to! Peyton can easily align herself to unleash that powerful swing from any pass, she is fast and she is strong, but can sneakily tip a ball down the line for the point and can get up for the block too! Not afraid to attack she has her opponents cringing! She has great court IQ and places that ball effectively, she is a constant source of power every set. Her energy and enthusiasm on the court is tremendous! We repeatedly saw her throw down some incredible digs leaving it all out there! She is fast and she is committed on the court. She uses her body well to return those hard hits and digs with no holding back. She is an asset to her team in confidence to save any play, and we witnessed it a lot. Her serve was just as equally effective making her a total package defender of the back row! Playing Freshman and JV for Dunbar. Ellis has grown into her tall lanky frame adding more power to her game with correct fundamentals that look polished! Her swing comes from correct footwork, arm swing and impulsion to get a nice lofty jump connected to a beautiful swing! She has a great block and can position herself on the court easily moving up and down the net. She communicates well on the court and brings that fresh enthusiasm on the court and sidelines too!
