The fall season is right upon us and what better way to kick it all off than with the Prep Dig Stock Up!

For the third year in a row, Prep Dig has offered one of the top prospective showcases in the country for athletes entering their sophomore year and older. For the Michigan crew, this has been a baseboard for many of the state's top talent to display their growth. Like the saying goes, things get better with time. That is exactly the way to sum up these athletes and this year's edition of the Stock Up.

Kicking it off strong, let's take a look at some of the best setter prospects at the Michigan Stock Up Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='722932' first='Rebecca' last='Pavlik'] - Lutheran Northwest

[player_tooltip player_id='722932' first='Rebecca' last='Pavlik'] had a really nice outing at this year's Stock Up Showcase. From the positional training and all throughout to the game play, Pavlik looks poised for an exciting fall season. This is a player that doesn't need to do too much to deliver a good ball. She connects well with her middles and seems to find them in tough situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='743769' first='Joeleigh' last='White'] - Gull Lake

Gull Lake always is good for a nice setter. [player_tooltip player_id='743769' first='Joeleigh' last='White'] looks to be the next big setter out of the program following the career of Sophie Crawford (Miami (OH)) a few years back. White is agile and moves around the court very well. I liked seeing her willingness to push the tempo to just about anywhere around the court as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='553582' first='Kalina' last='Fast'] - Waverly

This is the first I have seen of this prospect and she gives a LOT of potential. Not only as a setter, but [player_tooltip player_id='553582' first='Kalina' last='Fast'] could do a bang up job in the front row as an attacker. Listed as both, Fast was exactly that, fast! This athlete oozes of athleticism. With a fall season dedicated to the setter position could really become a burgeoning talent in the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='526553' first='Liv' last='Wender'] - Lowell

After seeing [player_tooltip player_id='526553' first='Liv' last='Wender'] at the Stock Up, I am very excited to see how Lowell does this fall. After a slew of championship appearances in the late 2010s, Lowell has been a puzzle piece or two off from their former glory. Wender looks to be that kind of player that could bring them back. A do-it-all athlete, Wender has really come a long way in the setting department. I was a big fan of her ball delivery and consistency across the board.

[player_tooltip player_id='850734' first='Kyla' last='Kuiper'] - Zeeland East

Another exciting setting product from the west side, this is the second time this summer that I got to really watch [player_tooltip player_id='850734' first='Kyla' last='Kuiper']. I was pleased with what I saw at AAU Nationals, but I am excited for what I saw at UWM on Saturday. Kuiper brings a lot of poise to the court. She doesn't need to rely upon flashy plays or the theatrics. She gets her feet to the ball and delivers it with great location. I can see this player pick up a ton of buzz throughout this coming fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='765782' first='Abigail' last='Griffin'] - Romeo

Much like Lowell, Romeo is another program I will be keeping a close eye on this fall. One big reason for that is [player_tooltip player_id='765782' first='Abigail' last='Griffin']. A player that has somehow fallen under my radar, I was very impressed with this setter. She was delivering butter all throughout the showcase. From the hitting lines to the competition portion, I really liked what Griffin brought to the court. Entering the fall, she has a solid opportunity to set for a Romeo squad that could compete to be a Top 15 team in Division 1.
