At 3.9 k/s, Maibach had 16 kills to lead Norwayne in their recent win over Chippewa. The 3-1 affair was controlled by the Bobcats aside from a third set defeat. Maibach's effort was efficient as she hit at .440 and an impressive 64% kill rate. She also added a team high 18 digs to go along with three blocks and two aces. At opposite, she has good versatility to score through both a high option and quick tempo around her setter. Her 15 kills against the Beaumont School extended her streak of five matches in double-digit kills to improve her season average to 2.8 k/s on a .354 efficiency. Reed was the star for Anna as she led her team with 21 kills on a 46% kill rate and .326 efficiency. She also added 16 digs. Just 5'5, Reed is a crafty hitter with a lot of tools when in the air as she can swing for pace while also find ways to score by getting the opponent off balance. She is averaging 3.8 k/s, a career high, as she has been a consistent factor throughout her high school career.
