From rising middle hitters to dynamic outside attackers, these athletes are ready to make their mark. Let's take a closer look at some standout players to watch during the tournament!

[player_tooltip player_id='758466' first='Rylie' last='Bakker'] – Rock Bridge

At 6'2”, Rylie is a formidable middle for the Bruins. While she may not receive as much recognition as some of her teammates, her potential for greatness is undeniable. With her size and athleticism, Rylie has yet to reach her full potential, making her a player to watch over the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='543378' first='Olivia' last='Maciel'] – Blue Springs

Olivia is a gifted athlete who plays a crucial role in running the offense while also delivering powerful attacks from the opposite pin. Standing at 6'1”, she possesses the height and skill set that suggest a bright future at the next level. With impressive career stats of 429 assists, 251 digs, and 338 kills already, Olivia is only a sophomore and continues to impress.

[player_tooltip player_id='720942' first='Mila' last='Asay'] – Kickapoo

Despite being 5'7”, Mila holds her own among Class 5 outside hitters with her impressive vertical leap and fierce swing. Currently ranking second on her team in kills with 21, she is a vital asset to the young Chiefs. Expect to see some exciting plays from Mila this weekend as she aims for big kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='828979' first='Adilynn' last='Rohrer'] – Ozark

Adilynn is poised for a breakout year as she transitions from serving primarily as a blocking pin to a more offensive role. Her move to the middle will yield significant results, leveraging her high contact point and strong blocking footwork. Fans can anticipate personal bests in both kills and blocks this season.

Melaina Haines – Jackson

Melaina has kicked off the season in spectacular fashion, leading her Jackson Indians to a 6-0 record. Abby Tingle, a 6'1” middle hitter, leads her team with 93 kills this season. Her hard-hitting style, combined with her length and wingspan, poses a significant challenge for opposing teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='814906' first='Kate' last='Mitchell'] – Republic

Kate has been a standout outside hitter for the Tigers, achieving a season-high of 15 kills during a 3-1 victory over Branson while hitting .333. Her ability to make contact at a high point allows her to tool the hands of blockers for kills skillfully. Despite a loss to Ozark, where she finished with nine kills, Kate remains a critical player for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='886202' first='Nylah' last='Rinard'] – Lee's Summit North

Nylah's experience with the MAVS during the club season is paying off, as she is making a significant impact early in the year.
