Scouting Reports: Regina Catholic Regals 2025

The senior has been a fixture in impacting matches since her ninth-grade season as a six-rotation dynamo. An Iowa State commitment, Naeve is an explosive athlete that also stands out in track and field. Leaping ability, explosion off of the court and a powerful swing make her a handful on the attack. She's continued improving her back-row attack, which showed up here at the Iowa City High tournament early in the 2025 season. Naeve is technically sound in all disciplines of the game and is a fierce competitor. I caught her in action at the Iowa City High tournament in early September. A key component in Regina's quest for back-to-back state tournament berths for the first time in school history, Bollier looked sharp in an event with larger schools making up the rest of the field. The Samford commitment boasts many of the traits one looks for in an impactful back-row performer. Sharp reflexes, lateral movement and quickness serve as the foundation for Bollier's success. This season, as shown at the Iowa City High tournament in early September, it prepared her for more responsibility during her senior year. Athleticism stands out as Keune's calling card. She also competes in basketball and track. The explosion needed in those sports shines through in volleyball. Keune gets good height on her vertical leap and swings through the ball with authority, which help her make up for not being tall at the pin. I scouted her multiple times in 2024, and got my first in-person look at her playing the Iowa City High tournament in early September of her junior campaign. Wilhelm has a good feel for where her hitters prefer the ball on the attack. She's especially effective when she gets in a rhythm and in sync with her teammates. Her height and long arms are an asset at the position. That stood out when watching the Regals in action at the Iowa City High tournament in early September. A bit undersized, Greving makes up for that with impressive leaping ability and a repeatable swing. She doesn't try to do too much, choosing to wisely keep the ball in play and live to fight another day. Greving reads the defense well and locates holes in it to exploit. She proved to be an important piece of the Regals' puzzle when scouting her at the Iowa City High tournament in early September. Klein utilizes her height and power when attacking opponents. She takes what the defense gives her and finds holes in it. As a defender, she shows good timing on the block, ranking third on the team with 12 of them through the first 13 matches of the 2025 campaign.
