It's the time to put it all out on the court and leave with no regrets. That is exactly what many of these seniors are doing this fall.

When looking at the high school space, for the last few years, the conversation has been dominated by the recently graduated class of 2025. With superstars such as Campbell Flynn, Shelby Ignash and more, the 2026s may not have made as much noise. But don't be fooled, they are getting pretty rowdy here in the last fall of their prep career.

Here are some of the top seniors going out with a BANG in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze']

[player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'] For Bloomfield Hills

This could finally be the year that Bloomfield Hills puts all of the puzzle pieces together and make a run. With a once-in-a-generation player like [player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'], her will and determination will go long ways to make that happen. It's very rare to see a middle blocker make so much of an impact on the game that Nwabueze does. She's a six rotation player, playing out of position, and delivering on every front of her role.

A starlet as far back as her freshman season, Nwabueze is cruising to career high numbers. Averaging nearly 6 kills per set, by time November rolls around, this player should surely be surpassed the coveted 2,000 career kill mark. Kayla is also encroaching on some huge milestones such as 400 career blocks and 1,000 career digs as well. Due to her leadership, Bloomfield Hills is experiencing one of their best seasons in recent memory and rank No. 3 in Division 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='226888' first='Aubree' last='Deshetsky'] for North Branch

There has been no other player with quite the high school resume such as [player_tooltip player_id='226888' first='Aubree' last='Deshetsky']'s. Maybe one of the few 2026s to have snuck into prominence early on with both individual AND team success. Deshetsky kicked off her prep career with two straight State Championships in Division 2. She followed that up with a Quarterfinal appearance in her junior year with a national leading kills total with 937 kills on the season. Nobody is doing it quite like her.

So far in her final season with the legendary North Branch Broncos, Aubree has been business as usual. Averaging a casual 7.6 points per set, there has been no sign of slowing down from this one. In fact, Aubree is just 26 kills away from surpassing the 2,000 career kill marker. A feat that she could very easily achieve in just a matter of a game. Deshetsky has become such a prolific attacker, at her current pace, we could see her as North Branch's All-Time kills leader and a Top Ten kills leader in the entire state of Michigan.

[player_tooltip player_id='535138' first='Briawna' last='Zimmerman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='226936' first='Lexie' last='Stotenbur'] for Forest Hills Northern

Forest Hills Northern has become one of the biggest faces of the West Side volleyball scene in the last few years. No one better to thank than this duo of [player_tooltip player_id='535138' first='Briawna' last='Zimmerman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='226936' first='Lexie' last='Stotenbur']. As Sophomores, these two were a part of the Husky group to make the program's first championship game in over a decade. Since then, they have only gotten better and have their sights back to Battle Creek.

Zimmerman has become one of the strongest middle blockers in her class. Her strong presence at the net as not only an elite level attacker but blocker as well, Zimmerman gives her team a lot opportunities. For Stotenbur, she has become one of the finest setters as well. She runs one of the most efficient offenses in the state, with many unable to keep up with her.

[player_tooltip player_id='220968' first='Quinn' last='Yenshaw']

[player_tooltip player_id='220968' first='Quinn' last='Yenshaw'] for Traverse City St. Francis

Not many give this player her deserved flowers, but she's due for them. [player_tooltip player_id='220968' first='Quinn' last='Yenshaw'] is another player of a very few to have as decorated of a prep career as a team as she does individually. For the last few seasons, Yenshaw has acted as this team's catalyst to success. Always a force of nature on offense, she has then steadily grown into a complete threat in every rotation.

For the last two seasons, Yenshaw and Traverse City St. Francis has made deep runs into the tournament. And by deep, I mean they have two Division 3 Runner-Up trophies. In each run, Yenshaw has made huge performances to overcome steep competition. This year looks no different. With eyes set on going all the way, Yenshaw is averaging well over 3.5 kills per set, hitting at effective clip.

[player_tooltip player_id='828378' first='Riley' last='Copenhaver'] and [player_tooltip player_id='489939' first='Vivian' last='Jones'] for Brighton

For years and years, Brighton has been knocking at the door of being one of the ELITE programs in Michigan. A program that oozes talent galore, this year shows to be a senior heavy laden team. One that could maybe make the difference and surge their team past the hump. At the center of it all is a duo that really have not much to look back on throughout the prep career. However, they have come on extremely strong in the recent goings and look to make their name remembered.

[player_tooltip player_id='828378' first='Riley' last='Copenhaver'] and [player_tooltip player_id='489939' first='Vivian' last='Jones'] have become somewhat of the IT-duo this fall. Leading their team to a Top Ten ranking in Division 1, both Copenhaver and Jones have been going blow for blow at an alarming rate. The two combine for well over 5 kills per set and can muster up some big swings at both the net and behind the ten foot line.

[player_tooltip player_id='728154' first='Nikki' last='Fedewa'] and [player_tooltip player_id='732275' first='Annika' last='Platte'] for Pewamo-Westphalia

We're highlighting yet ANOTHER duo looking go out big. And this one comes from a very familiar team. One that has become no stranger from big time plays from a pair of players. Look no further than the 2024 class that featured Taylor Smith and Saige Martin. But this time around it is the duo of [player_tooltip player_id='728154' first='Nikki' last='Fedewa'] and [player_tooltip player_id='732275' first='Annika' last='Platte'] who are looking to bring back the Division 3 State Title to Pewamo-Westphalia.

When you aren't getting blasted by one, you're probably getting lit up by the other. Fedewa is the towering presence in the middle and Platte is the crafty outside hitting all of the shots imaginable. The two make for such a strong combo due to their compliments of each other. With only two losses on the season so far, this duo has been doing a lot of heavy lifting for one of the top rated teams in D3.

[player_tooltip player_id='732282' first='Kate' last='VanAppledorn'] for Holland Christian

It has been quite some time that we have heard some noise out of Holland Christian. What use to be one of the strongest programs in Division 2 looks to be back into the fold. Who better to lead this program into a new era than this electrifying middle, [player_tooltip player_id='732282' first='Kate' last='VanAppledorn'].

Sitting amongst the Top Five of the Division 2 rankings, this is very much to do with the domination going on at the net by VanAppledorn. One of the most lethal attackers in the state at the moment, Kate is hitting at such a high percentage. Her success comes from her ability to hit with such range. No route is off limits when it comes to her. Off one foot in front of or behind the setter, or a more traditional, two-footed approached; there is not much that she cannot do.

[player_tooltip player_id='226899' first='Cree' last='Hollier'] for Mercy

If you haven't gotten a chance to see this player live yet, this is your time to do it. When speaking of players that simply can do it all, too, this is that girl. [player_tooltip player_id='226899' first='Cree' last='Hollier'] has been somewhat of an anomaly over the last few years. While standing a tall, 5'9 in the middle, many often over look her upon meeting. Then before you know it, she has buried in kill after kill on you. Hollier is one of the highest flying player you can find. But we haven't seen it all from her quite yet.

Like I said, this player has spent a majority of her time in the middle throughout her career, but Cree can do just about anything you ask. Throughout the early goings of the season, Hollier has spent a LOT of time swinging on the left pin and in six rotations. Don't worry though, she is still just as lethal, if not more. She has become a main source of emphasis when it comes to Mercy's offense now. With her ability to play just about any position on the court, this offers up a whole bunch of opportunities for Cree to score as well.
