In our final edition of the Under The Radar series, we look at the smallest schools that have made the biggest gains so far, all while staying out of the spotlight. Here are three teams from around the state having an exceptional first month, along with three players each that have made the difference for their respective squads.

Ranked #8 in 1A by Indiana Prep Volleyball, the Panthers are poised to do some damage when the postseason comes around. Already halfway to their win total from a season ago, this western Indiana squad looks to extend their season beyond the sectional. [player_tooltip player_id='725609' first='Annie' last='Campbell'] is the main catalyst for this offense, and does a little of everything. With 4+ kills per set and 3+ digs per set, her explosiveness and athletic acuity allow her to do everything WELL, and lead this squad offensively. A nice complement to Annie is [player_tooltip player_id='815295' first='Kenzie' last='Nowicki']. From the middle, she's averaging over three kills per set while hitting with one of the best hitting percentages on the team. More of a basketball kid, her size (6') and volleyball IQ give an element of toughness to this squad. Junior libero [player_tooltip player_id='787886' first='Cora' last='Batty'] anchors the floor defense with over four digs per set, while keeping her team in system with her solid serve receive.

Seventeen wins is a lot for this time of year, and it's hard to hide a #11 ranking from Indiana Prep Volleyball in 1A. Just seeing that win total gave me pause, and had me wonder what the secret is for the Warriors. No secrets, really, just exceptional play from their main attacker, [player_tooltip player_id='807808' first='Grace' last='Sailors']. Raw and athletic, Grace jumps out of the gym and can (and does) play any of the front row positions. Projected to be more of a pin attacker, her 5+kps/.350+ stat line is right in line with leading attackers in 1A in the state. She's an Empowered kid, so the training is there for sure. Grace will be a steal for a college program looking for athleticism and a gym-rat mentality that has an eternal motor. Along with Grace, this squad is senior-heavy in the right spots. Libero Zoey Sparks leads the team with 4+ digs per set, all while being a stalwart in serve receive. Chloe Sparks is the setter for this squad, and is the lucky recipient of a ton of in-system balls from Zoey.

Winners of seven straight matches and currently ranked at #14 in Indiana Prep Volleyball‘s Z-Ratings, the Twisters have a pair of bigs that are intimidating and terminal on the attack. [player_tooltip player_id='443851' first='Ali' last='Nobbe'] (Northern Illinois commit) is a big and physical six-rotation attacker that does everything for OA. Basketball-minded [player_tooltip player_id='809839' first='Rachel' last='Suttmann'] is another big kid, this time owning the middle in every match she plays. The two over-six-footers combine for well past 6 kills per set while hitting over .250 on the season. A junior hybrid of a player can be found in [player_tooltip player_id='805013' first='Campbell' last='Miles']. As one of the setters in the 6-2, she contributes in the success of just about everyone. She can score points on the attack, she defends her position well for a setter and can run an offense and find her primary attackers regularly.
