In this article:
Across the entire state, these three players were chosen by us here at PrepDig. However, you the readers will help us pick the overall winner! Please use the link below and vote for which of these three players deserved to be crowned the OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!
We were sent a plethora of nominations and lots of really tough decisions had to be made but these three players are who feel are the cream of the crop based on stats, what we saw in person throughout the season, AND lots of coaches input.
Ella Hale Ella Hale 5'11" | OH OK - Outside Hitter for Mount St. Mary. She is a 5'11 senior who has already committed to Queens University. She has had an outstanding career at MSM. She has dominated and made a name for herself since day 1. With over 520 kills, 24 aces and a hitting eff of .253 she is a premier point scoring machine. Ella is someone who has a ton of tools in the tool belt. She can go line or cross, she can go full power or off speed over the block, and she can push deep line or shallow cross. Her biggest upside in my opinion is the control and range in which she has when hitting. I have seen teams double block her when she hits out of the back row and try to take a certain angle away, she will just hit the opposite direction and still cause issues. Hats off to the career she has had and good luck to her future play.

- Outside Hitter for Stillwater. The 6 foot sophomore outside was a handful last year to deal with for opposing teams. Another successful high level club season and she is dominating matches, even though most teams are well aware of the talent she possesses and amount in which she is set per set. She is a threat from the back row and the front row. Her ability to control the ball and hit just about every portion left open is crazy good. I saw her only have about 12" of room down the line and she took all 12 for a ride. She hit a .240 for the entire year off over 1000 attempts. To add a cherry on top, she also had 40 aces on the year. She is going to be a big time recruit in the coming year. Hopefully a university here in Oklahoma can wrangle her into staying local.

- Setter for Community Christian. She is a 6' setter who has already committed to Abilene Christian. They are getting one of the best we have to offer here in Oklahoma. She will make an impact at the next level on day 1. She is the lone player on the list who isn't an outside hitter but with nearly 1,000 assists, 61 aces, 82 kills and a set % of just shy of 50%, you can see why. She is a maestro of their offense and led them to a state title. They swept VC in the championship and only lost a single match all season long. Community has a heck of an offense but Pierson was the mastermind of it all.
