In an intense showcase of talent, strategy, and sheer hustle, the 2025 Bishop Kenny JV Dig Pink Volleyball Tournament brought together some of the best JV teams in north Florida. Among the standout storylines of the weekend was the role of the setters—often the unsung heroes—who turned precision into power and control into championship momentum. From fast feet to flawless set placement, these athletes proved that every successful attack starts with a great decision-maker at the net. At the heart of it all? The brilliant setters across all schools, with Chiles' Harper Whitaker setting the bar high as she guided her team to a first-place finish.

#28, Chiles High School

A freshman phenom, Harper Whitaker played with poise well beyond her years. From freshman newcomers like Chiles' Harper Whitaker to battle-tested veterans like Middleburg's [player_tooltip player_id='774327' first='Kate' last='Brown'], these athletes elevated the level of play with their court command. In a game of inches and seconds, they were the steady hands that turned opportunity into gold. With Chiles taking the top spot, it's clear: the championship started with the setter.
