The 2024 GIAA AAA season showed that having steady playmakers can completely shift momentum in a match. These athletes may not always post the flashiest stats, but their decision-making, hustle, and ability to fill multiple roles make them invaluable to their teams. As programs look toward the 2025 campaign, these six players stand out as ones who consistently influence the flow of the game and elevate those around them.    Ella combines athleticism with reliability. She's explosive on the outside but also brings defensive toughness in the back row. Coaches can trust her in long rallies because she rarely takes a play off, and she has the leadership presence to steady her teammates when matches get tense. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Olivia is the ultimate utility player. She's filled roles as a setter, hitter, and defensive sub, often within the same match. That kind of adaptability is rare, and she embraces it. Her willingness to take on whatever her team needs makes her invaluable in tournament play where adjustments happen fast. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     With her size and presence at the net, Lily is a wall defensively and a weapon offensively. She times her blocks well, often shutting down top hitters, and when she transitions to offense, she brings a powerful swing. Her two-way impact is a huge part of Tallulah Falls' success against taller lineups. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     atherine has the size and arm swing to dominate at the pins, but what separates her is her ability to adjust mid-rally. She reads blockers well, uses sharp angles, and can change pace when defenders expect heat. Her versatility on the outside and opposite makes her a matchup problem every time she steps on the court. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Ellie is the type of player every coach loves to have on the floor—steady, focused, and reliable in multiple positions. She excels in serve receive, rarely giving up free points, and is quick to cover hitters, keeping rallies alive. Her defensive reads allow Brookstone's offense to stay in rhythm, and her leadership-by-example sets the tone for teammates to bring consistent effort. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Caroline is still early in her high school career, but she already plays with confidence beyond her years. She's quick on her feet, gets her feet to the ball consistently, and isn't afraid to take big swings when her team needs momentum.
