Net Presence and Pin Power

While the season has come to a close, the players who made their mark at the net this fall are already gearing up for their next challenge. Whether it's developing into more dominant pin hitters, adding versatility to their offensive toolkits, or sharpening blocking footwork during club ball, these athletes represent the kind of frontline power their programs can lean on in the years ahead.    Brielle has been a steady offensive option all season, using her length and timing to score from the pin. As she transitions out of high school play, her development will hinge on expanding her shot variety and learning how to thrive against bigger, more disciplined blocks in college. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Though she contributes defensively as well, Charlotte's ability to swing aggressively from the outside gives Brookstone a valuable multi-role piece. Her next step in club ball will be to refine her consistency as a six-rotation player, finding the balance between power and control in her swings. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Allie anchored the defense this year but also showed the ability to step into offensive flow when needed. As she grows into her role, expect her to fine-tune serve receive while building the confidence to attack out-of-system balls with authority. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Sofia has emerged as a key offensive weapon, capable of scoring in rhythm and carrying her team during long rallies. Club competition will give her the stage to work on elevating her vertical and speeding up her approach, which could turn her into one of the toughest pins to stop in the region. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Athens has the versatility to shift between the outside and middle, a skillset that gives her coaches flexibility in rotations. With club ball ahead, she'll look to sharpen her blocking footwork and build on her already strong net presence to become even more of a complete front-row threat. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     As a freshman, Mackenzie has already shown promise as a middle blocker. Her size and instincts make her an exciting long-term prospect, and with a year of club competition, she has the chance to develop the speed and timing to become a dominant net-front defender. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast    From seniors like Brielle who are preparing for the transition to college volleyball, to underclassmen like Mackenzie and Charlotte who are just beginning their climb, this group highlights the strength of Georgia's front-row talent. As club season ramps up, expect to see them continue to refine their craft — turning raw ability into polished, high-level play that will shape both their teams and their futures.
