6AA consists of fourteen teams throughout Minnesota and therefore hold a first round giving the top two teams an automatic place in the Quarterfinals that will take place on October 24th. The twelve teams that competed in the first round pushed beyond their limits, but only six were able to move on. Below are standouts that helped make way for their team to continue their season.

Taylor's fast approach allows her to get to the ball with plenty of time to see the blockers and defense to strategically place the ball in a desired location. She has a high, fast, and sharp swing that rallies many points for her team and increase the energy around the gym. Taylor can run multiple routes and communicates loudly with her setter to help navigate plays. She is ready for every play and never shies to make a move.

Ruud is continuously reading and moving around the court anticipating the opponent's next move. This allows her to be ready for anything that is thrown her way and puts her one set ahead to make successful hustle plays when needed. Her agility when transitioning off the net to swing lets her read the pass, stay behind the setter, and get a strong approach to the ball before attacking. Ruud has a high and fast swing and can hit many different areas of the court forcing her opponents to read her play.

Rajkowski plays with fierce dedication and discipline around the court. Her approach is fast when getting to the ball and before swinging takes time to read the defense in front of her. She has a plan with every touch. Swing high, hard, and deep, Rajkowski performs many successful swings and shots rallying multiple points for her team. Her discipline allows her to control passes during intense plays and finish at the net after a long rally. She is quick to celebrate those around her and helps out her team in any possible way.

Zimmer never stays in one spot too long and she is ready to help out her team in every scenario. In serve receive she is shadowing her teammate is she is not receiving the ball, she covers hitters effectively, hustling to every out of system ball to play it back into the court, and she communicates through it all. Zimmer is not afraid to make a play and her discipline allows her to gather dig after dig during a rally. Zimmer reads and successfully makes plays on setter dumps, tips, freeballs, roll shots, and hard cross-court/line swings.

Thieschafer has a high and fast swing that puts the ball down quickly between opponents. She is loud on the court making her presence know by her teammates. Her ability to read the defense and help direct plays improves her teams success. Thieschafer's block is strong and hard to get around and she reads where the hitter is going and gets right in front of her. She has great ball control all around the court.
