The 2025 prep season has given us enough time to see which players are going to be leaders in their respective categories.

When it comes to the seniors (Class of 2026), there's a lot of big names racking up impressive kill numbers. Here's a look at the best in Michigan based on the stats available (MaxPreps/Hudl).

[player_tooltip player_id='226888' first='Aubree' last='Deshetsky'], North Branch

One of the greats in North Branch history, Deshetsky gets a lot of swings, but she puts the ball away a lot as well. She's sitting at 452 kills this fall near the midway point, putting her on pace to push for 900+ once again this fall. She's got a perfect mix of power and finesse, while being able to see the court very well.

[player_tooltip player_id='490361' first='Aleah' last='Brackett'], Bronson

A talented combo player that is proving to be one of the most potent hitters in Division 3, Brackett has 414 kills this fall while still being a setting option and a top defender. Brackett gives her all to the team and is a real handful for opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='478074' first='Sarah' last='Pippin'], Edwardsburg

Pippin has been living up to the hype this fall with 365 kills for the Eddies. That includes a 30-kill performance and multiple 20-kill performances. When the ball comes Pippin's way, expect a lot of fireworks.

[player_tooltip player_id='226882' first='Karis' last='Chatfield'], Jenison

Chatfield keeps improving each season and has become a stronger finisher each year. This fall, Chatfield has 361 kills, while hitting .333, a very impressive number. Chatfield takes on a lot of high-pressure swings, but knows how to come through in big matches.

[player_tooltip player_id='226904' first='Emma' last='Keeping'], Imlay City

Another talented combo player, Keeper has been really in a groove with her attacks, putting together 357 kills thus far in 2025. She's a given to reach double-digit kills each match, but really finds another level of play when her team is in a tight match.

[player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'], Bloomfield Hills

One of the most powerful swingers in the state, Nwabueze is at 344 kills this fall while hitting a dominant .372 for the Black Hawks. She's turned up the intensity this fall and is guiding her team to new heights while being relatively unstoppable when the ball comes her way.

[player_tooltip player_id='226886' first='Gabby' last='DiVita'], Grosse Pointe South

DiVita has definitely been one of the state's best since she started as a freshman. This year, she's put up 316 kills through just 60 sets of action while hitting .403, which is hard to imagine. DiVita is clearly the focus of every opponent, yet she continues to put the ball away at a rate few can reach.

[player_tooltip player_id='809921' first='Kennedy' last='Hinkle'], Livonia Stevenson

Hinkle is having a really impressive season thus far with 268 kills to her credit. She's been a name that is working her way up the list in the state for top finishers and she's making sure she leaves everything on the court this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='727732' first='Larkin' last='Pham'], Dexter

It's been a great season for Dexter thus far and Pham is having a breakout year in her own right. The senior has 265 kills this fall while hitting nearly .300. Dexter has a balanced attack, but Pham has been a primary option that is proving she can put her opponents away.
