Club season is Coming… Outside Hitters to Watch

If setters shape the offense, outside hitters carry its emotional weight. They steady the first contact, take the tough swings, and close the long rallies. The athletes below bring presence, intelligence, and scoring identity to the floor — the kind of outsides who make their team feel different when they're in the front row.

Kat plays with maturity and total court awareness. Her swing is fluid and repeatable, and she makes smart choices that minimize risk without losing scoring intent. She stays calm in long rallies, reads blockers early, and manages tempo with subtle adjustments. A six-rotation anchor with poise and purpose in every touch. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast

Avery's length and athletic stride give her a natural edge in transition tempo. She attacks confidently in space and finishes high over the block with a clean arm swing. Her range stands out — she scores on seams, tips, and high deep corners without losing rhythm. She's a stabilizer with a scoring gear that elevates in big moments. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast

Lina is a tactician. Her understanding of the game from multiple positions gives her a unique advantage as a pin attacker. She reads the defense before committing her approach and uses angle, depth, and pace to exploit coverage. She plays with a calm, thinking presence — never rushed, always calculated, always in control. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast

Kennedy brings athletic quickness and competitive edge to the left pin. She elevates with fluidity and strikes clean through contact, but what sets her apart is her ability to create offense from imperfect balls. She adjusts mid-air, finds her swing under pressure, and competes with a hunger that lifts the entire floor's intensity. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast

Leah plays with power and intentionality. Her approach has rhythm, her contact is strong and decisive, and she knows how to use her physicality without forcing it.
