This week, teams across the region are battling to keep their championship hopes alive and earn a coveted spot in the SoDak 16.   From programs looking to make history to underdogs hungry for redemption, the energy is electric. Athletes are digging deep, coaches are making bold adjustments, and the gyms are packed with fans who know how much this moment means.   As brackets tighten, several standout players have stepped into the spotlight — the ones who consistently deliver in pressure moments, spark rallies, and bring leadership to their teams. Whether it's a middle commanding the net, a setter running a fast-paced offense, or a libero keeping plays alive, these players are defining postseason volleyball at its best.Stay tuned as we highlight players to know from each matchup — the competitors whose performances could shape who advances and who goes home. The road to the SoDak 16 is never easy, but it's where legacies start and future stars emerge. College Coaches, here are some players to track this week for Class B - Region 5.    Kyrie Matucha is a force in the back row, having surpassed 1,000 career digs and closing in on 400 this season alone. Her court awareness and ability to read opposing hitters make her a reliable first line of defense. Matucha's quick reactions and range allow her to keep rallies alive, while her consistent serve-receive platform gives her setter the foundation to run a clean, fast-paced offense. Coaches should watch how she transitions seamlessly from defense to offense, often sparking momentum-shifting plays with her digs and coverage. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='821393' first='Aubree' last='Miller'] commands the net with precision and power. Known for hitting deep corners and exploiting gaps in the block, Miller creates scoring opportunities that stretch defenses and open lanes for her teammates. Her quick lateral movement and timing make her a formidable blocker, while her ability to run fast-tempo slides and first-ball attacks keeps opponents off-balance.
