<p>This team features several players that had big seasons for the respective varsity teams. That starts with first touches from Somerset Christian junior libero [player_tooltip player_id='753664' first='Callie' last='Davis'] and Madison Southern junior defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='795339' first='Kateann' last='Foley'].</p>

<p>Three key Lexington Christian contributors are on the team. The kills leader in junior [player_tooltip player_id='813718' first='Hailey' last='Jude'] is on the team along with sophomore setter [player_tooltip player_id='880132' first='Anna' last='Belle Watts']. Freshman outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='882236' first='Peyton' last='Jude'] is also on the team.</p>

<p>The other defensive specialists are George Rogers Clark freshman CaraMia Coffey, Lexington Catholic sophomore Alexandra Wiley and Rowan County junior Trinity Leon. Watts can also set three outside hitters in senior Cara Greenwell from Scott County, Madison Southern junior Isabella Mays and Southwestern junior Addison Whitaker.</p>

<p>Emma Iler is the team's head coach. The first tournament is the Martin Luther King Extravaganza on January 17 and 18 in the 17 Club Division.</p>

<p>This team has some promising players on it such as Paul Laurence Dunbar freshman setter [player_tooltip player_id='779563' first='Iris' last='Dailing'] and Tates Creek defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='847615' first='Hadley' last='Brown']. The other defensive specialists are Ava Elmadolar, Macie Jasinski and Madelyn Pelfrey. Dailing can set middle blocker Adalynn Gross along with three outside hitters in Aviana Barbour, Abby Franklin and Lily Morgan.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Jude (pictured) has a spectacular rhythm at the net consistently producing big points for the Eagles. She makes things happen even if sets are not on target. She mixes in tips and runs sound tandems with teammates. Jude is also a solid passer and displays great enthusiasm on the court. Jude had 290 kills and 170 kills in the fall, helping Lexington Christian go 19-15 on the season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Foley helped give the Eagles a solid defense in the fall. She has good hands and stops in her tracks to make the simple passes. She reads hitters well and has a good platform. Foley had 305 digs to help Madison Southern go 24-8 this past season.</p>

<p>Watts displayed some good moments on varsity for the Eagles in the fall. She can turn into a major contributor with more consistency. Watts does a good job setting up the offense and can make the simple passes. Her serves have some good spin on them. Watts had 108 assists and 77 digs in the fall, helping Lexington Christian go 19-15 on the season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Dailing takes the court with a lot of confidence. She is fundamentally sound in the way she directs the offense and takes nice swings. She has great accuracy, especially on back sets. Dailing has great range and a solid serve.</p>
