This week will see Prep Dig host its next showcase event in Pontiac with the Prep Dig Exposure Tour stop in Michigan happening on Sunday, Dec. 21.

These winter stops have been very beneficial for a number of prospects in recent years. In previous years, these events were called the Michigan Top 250 Expo, but regardless of the name change, they have been a great opportunity to help prospects reach the next level in their development.

Here's a look at some of the outside hitters that have attended in previous years and how they have raised their game since.

[player_tooltip player_id='839826' first='Elise' last='Biermann'], Eisenhower (2027)

Biermann put on a great performance at one of our previous winter showcases. She was one of the top hitters and defenders and built that into a great 2024 fall season before a knee injury forced her to the sidelines for most of 2025's club season. Biermann has bounced back and looking like the prospect she was before and should continue to pursued by colleges entering her senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='828524' first='Emma' last='Eldred'], Tecumseh (2026)

A great competitor that can do a little bit of everything on the floor, Tecumseh really proved how talented a prospect she is with her play in last winter's Exposure Tour event. Eldred showed she could hold her own with anyone, which made her a dominant player this fall. Eldred was a First Team All-State pick in D2 and an All-Prep Dig D2 selection.

[player_tooltip player_id='555634' first='Kennedy' last='Hinkle'], Livonia Stevenson (2026)

Hinkle showed a lot of promise in last year's winter event in Michigan. This 6-foot hitter middle/outside combo player has really taken off since, becoming one of the most impactful players in D1 this fall. She was a Third Team All-State pick for 2025 and is now heading to Northwood to continue her volleyball career.

[player_tooltip player_id='486269' first='Brooke' last='Johnson'], FH Northern (2027)

Johnson was an eye-catcher last winter as she showed she can be one of the most dynamic right side hitters in the state. She was a key piece to the success for Forest Hills Northern this past fall and is drawing a lot of college attention. Johnson is sure to build on the great success she had this last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='470031' first='Avery' last='Kapeller'], OLSM (2027)

Another player that has shown tremendous growth and development as a hitter, Kapeller started as a strong defender that quickly grew into one of the top finishers in the state. The 6'2” Kapeller was Third Team All-State in D1 this year and an All-Prep Dig D1 selection. Kapeller is already committed to play at Georgetown in the fall of 2027.

[player_tooltip player_id='226906' first='Reagan' last='Lesley'], Chippewa Valley (2026)

Lesley helped make a name for herself during a previous winter showcase event and it led to her becoming one of the top outside hitters in the Macomb County area. She was part of the D1 All-State Team this year and has proven to have the all-around skills to land a home with Michigan Tech next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='454368' first='Lexa' last='Pierson'], Milford (2027)

Pierson is a prospect that put a lot of people on notice at a previous winter showcase, as she showed that she has all the tools needed to succeed at the next level. Pierson has great instincts and a smooth swing. She was part of the D1 All-State team this fall and is certain to find herself playing at the college level come 2027.

[player_tooltip player_id='226911' first='Riley' last='Pilat'], Plymouth Christian (2026)

Pilat has been one of the most dominant players in all of Division 3 this last year and we got a chance to see her potential at one of our previous winter showcases. Pilat was able to push herself against top hitters from bigger high school programs and show she has what it takes. She was a First Team All-State pick in D3 this fall as well as a All-Prep Dig D3 pick. She will continue her playing career at Cornerstone.

[player_tooltip player_id='726490' first='Nevaeh' last='Plaster'], GR Northview (2026)

Plaster is a great example of a prospect that has used our Prep Dig Showcases to better herself and find a home at the next level. Plaster showed great improvement with each showcase, becoming a more and more polished outside, while also building on her hitting power and consistency. She landed a home with the University of Saint Francis to continue her volleyball journey.

[player_tooltip player_id='490374' first='Elizabeth' last='Risdon'], Zeeland East (2027)

The 5-10 Risdon has exploded in the Michigan scene since her appearance last winter in our showcase event. She's shown a great mix of shots speeds and placement ability in the last year, which helped her earn Honorable Mention All-State honors in D1 this fall. She's already committed to play for Ohio University.

[player_tooltip player_id='706598' first='Soniah' last='Robinson'], OH Woodhaven (2026)

Robinson was a consistent presence at our Michigan events and you could see her growth as a player each time. Robinson has a lot of explosiveness at the net and her competitive level was raised going up against the talented fields at our showcases. She's heading to Aquinas to continue her volleyball career.

[player_tooltip player_id='490036' first='Emma' last='Rosenow'], Romeo (2026)

Rosenow was one of our standout performers last winter. The 6-foot outside has a well-rounded game and her ability to put the ball on the floor with consistency had the Bulldogs make a nice postseason run.
