On December 13, we visited the FAST Complex, home to the highly respected [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] Club, one of the venues for the traditional season-opening tournament, the FAST Warm-Up, which this season featured over 300 teams in 13 divisions that competed across four venues in the Houston area.We followed the matches of the 15 Open Division, which took place in the morning and featured 12 teams, representing 11 clubs from the Houston and Austin areas.

Peltier played for the HJV 15 Elite team that won the tournament with an undefeated campaign of six victories. An option for either pin, she played particularly well on the right, using her strong offensive game to make an impact at the net. Very explosive, Peltier made contact with the ball at a very high point and demonstrated impressive firepower to put it down. Very efficient from both the right and the left, she also had great variation, showing solid vision to pick her shots and tremendous quality to execute them.

Lee appeared for the AJV 15 Adidas side that ended up in third place with four wins and a loss. Standing at 6'1", she had a strong presence at the net for them, contributing at a high level on both sides of the ball. Lee used her length to make contact with the ball at a very high point on offense, and showed good vision to avoid blockers and score points. She was also a big factor with her blocking, taking up a lot of space from opposing pin hitters and playing very aggressively above the net.

Vidito was part of the New Age 15 Select team that tied for fifth in the FAST Warm-Up with two wins and three losses. She was very solid offensively for them, being one of the team's main scoring options on the right. Vidito demonstrated interesting physical tools, getting off the floor very well and having a lot of power in her left arm. But she also used finesse and intelligence to get the job done in out-of-system plays and tight sets, avoiding errors and finding creative solutions to difficult plays.

Blaine played for the TX Legacy 15 Elite team that got a fifth-place finish in the tournament with three wins and two losses. She did well as a secondary scoring option for her team, putting the ball down at a very high rate and coming up big in key moments of sets for them. Blaine user offensive range very efficiently, making contact with the ball at the highest possible point and doing a good job of hitting around opposing blockers. She also had a very positive attitude on the court, encouraging her teammates and cheering them up after every play.

Kleiber appeared for the BCS Skyline 15 Royal team that got seventh place with three wins and two losses. She spent time on both pins, showing great versatility and a solid all-around game. Her offense was very consistent and well-diversified, as although she used her high contact point very well and had a lot of power in her right arm, Kleiber also stood out for her vision and shot-selection, using tips to score when that was the best option. Standing at 6'1", she also had a strong blocking presence and got some stops at the net. Kleiber also did well with her passing when playing as a pin hitter, showing solid ball control and mobility to go for the ball.
