Middle play continues to be one of the most revealing positions to evaluate in a live setting. Timing, footwork, and discipline are visible early, and the athletes below consistently influenced rallies through blocking presence, efficient attacking, and smart movement along the net. This group brought a wide range of styles, but each showed clear, observable strengths in their responsibilities in the middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='764253' first='Camryn' last='MacPherson']

MacPherson is a 5'8" middle hitter from Marysville High School. MacPherson played with quick feet and strong lateral movement. She was effective getting off the net and reapproaching in transition, allowing her to stay involved even when plays broke down. Offensively, she contacted the ball cleanly and showed good awareness of open space rather than forcing swings into the block. Her blocking relied more on timing and positioning than size, and she consistently sealed inside lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='512138' first='Sienna' last='Dennis']

Dennis is a 5'10" middle hitter from Port Huron High School. She showed solid balance in both attacking and blocking phases. She stayed disciplined with her first step along the net and closed blocks with control. On offense, she ran a consistent tempo and finished efficiently when set in system. Her ability to stay available as an option helped stabilize the middle of the court. She is a hard-hitting middle with great hands and a wide view of the court. She is a versatile player who can make adjustments on the fly and significantly impact her team's ability to win.

[player_tooltip player_id='611100' first='Waverly' last='Hagen']

[player_tooltip player_id='611100' first='Waverly' last='Hagen'], 2027.

Hagen is a 6'2" middle hitter from Ubly High School. She provided a noticeable physical presence at the net. She took away space with her hands and pressed well over the tape on block attempts. Offensively, she was most effective on quick balls and gap attacks, maintaining a compact and timely approach. Her height and reach were consistently disruptive during live play. She is a big impact player. Defending her is difficult because she hits the ball at the sharpest angles imaginable.

[player_tooltip player_id='699957' first='Brynn' last='Swetz']

Swetz is a 6' middle hitter from Vicksburg High School. She showed good court awareness and steady execution. She moved well laterally and tracked the setter effectively, allowing her to get into blocking position early. Her offensive contributions came through clean contact and controlled swings rather than raw power, keeping rallies short when given the opportunity.

[player_tooltip player_id='546053' first='Tamari' last='Wheatley']

Wheatley is a 5'8" middle blocker from Salen High School. Wheatley stood out for her quick reactions and effort level. She read hitters well and adjusted her hands late to stay involved in blocks. Offensively, she showed confidence attacking from different spots along the net and stayed aggressive without over-swinging and causing potential errors. Her presence was felt through consistency and energy.

[player_tooltip player_id='810418' first='Adlin' last='Moore']

Moore is a 6'2" middle hitter from Holly High School. She played with strong posture and net control. She established a position early on blocks and maintained good spacing with her pin blockers. When attacking, she contacted the ball high and clean, particularly on quick tempo sets. Her movements were efficient and repeatable throughout the event, and she is a big vertical at the net. She has huge hands and knows how to use them to stop an attack or to create one of her own. She is a killer.

[player_tooltip player_id='902095' first='Julia' last='Graebner']

[player_tooltip player_id='902095' first='Julia' last='Graebner'], 2027.

Graebner is a 6' middle blocker from Lake Orion High School. Graebner showed polished blocking mechanics. She closed seams effectively and pressed across the net with purpose. Her timing on block jumps was consistent, and she took away cross-court angles well. Offensively, she stayed within herself and converted when given clean opportunities anywhere on the court. She gets so high up on the ball that it just slams down to the court without much chance for a defensive play against it.

[player_tooltip player_id='913725' first='Harper' last='Tossey']

Tossey is a 5'11" middle hitter from Northern Michigan Christian School. She brought a steady presence to the middle. She tracked the ball well in transition and maintained good spacing with setters. Her swings were controlled and placed, and she showed awareness of blockers rather than swinging blindly into coverage. This athlete has a big brain, helping her create points and take away swings on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='586777' first='Nemiah' last='Carper']

[player_tooltip player_id='586777' first='Nemiah' last='Carper'], 2027.

Carper is a 6' middle blocker from Roscommon High School. She displayed strong instincts at the net. She moved well side to side and showed good hand positioning on block attempts. Her ability to read opposing attackers allowed her to get touches even when fully closing was not possible. Carper was one of my favorites of the day to watch play. She has great hands, is a great blocker, a hard hitter, and has great speed. She is hard to lock down and defend against.

[player_tooltip player_id='450415' first='Leah' last='Green']

[player_tooltip player_id='450415' first='Leah' last='Green'], 2027.

Green is a 5'11" middle blocker from Detroit Country Day School. Green played with composure and consistency. She stayed disciplined in her blocking assignments and avoided drifting too far outside her zone. Offensively, she made smart decisions and kept the ball in play with controlled swings.

[player_tooltip player_id='919157' first='Delaney' last='Lowe']

Lowe is a 5'9" middle blocker from Lowell Senior High School. She relied on timing and anticipation to impact the game. She was quick to close blocks and showed good reaction speed on tips and soft shots. Her offensive work was efficient, focusing on clean contact and keeping pressure on the defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='916026' first='Lily' last='Klein']

Klein is a 6'3" middle hitter from Flat Rock High School. Klein rounded out this group of athletes with solid middle fundamentals. She stayed engaged on every rally, tracked the setter well, and maintained consistent footwork along the net. Her presence contributed to a stable blocking structure and reliable offensive execution when called upon.
