2029s Setting Standards for a Big Club Season

The Ross Rams finished 23-3 this past Fall, one of their best team performances in recent years. Featuring one of the most prolific arms in the greater Cincy area, this team also had the freshman Distler, who finished second offensively for the Rams at 2.1 k/s on 168 total kills. She was also a top performer defensively with 157 digs for a 6.0 d/m average. A primary pin hitter, she drives herself up off the floor well with a big double-arm lift that helps maximize her jump and keep her on balance. With that, she can swing for power and control to guide the ball through space. As part of TSE 15 Blue, she contributes to a dynamic corps of pin hitters for one of the top Ohio 15U teams.     Fada has good command of her length at 5'11 as she has a long frame that helps her compete well.. Her skills as a middle hitter are on point as a 15U prospect as she has good understanding of the movement needs and patterns around her setter in serve receive and transition to create space and be up and available quickly for this fast part of the offense. She can swing aggressively while having good awareness to use touch effectively also. At the Nike Classic, she displayed good range to her game with back row defense using her long platform effectively, along with aggressive serving. Fada's ceiling is high so keep an eye on her.     Heckman plays a key role as a DS/L prospect for her Elite VBTC squad. She is skilled in using her platform as she faces the ball well and extends with the right angles to effectively control the tempo and location of the ball in serve receive. On the defensive side, at 5'8, she can create good range in all directions to fill space when tracking down the ball. She was an all-around impact teammate at the recent MLK Extravaganza. She and her team finished 2nd overall in the 15 Premier division.     Kramer is a fundamentally sound pin attacker. With versatility to play on both sides of the court, she has good mechanics in her approach footwork to build momentum and get her feet to the ball on balance, which helps her maximize the elevation. At 5'8, she creates good contact point at the top of her jump with good torque movement in her upper body. As part of the Black Swamp 15-1 roster, she trains and competes in the tradition rich program of Calvert during the high school season and is sure to be a key contributor for them in her varsity-level future.     Egbert recently arrived on the radar during the growth phase of the 2029 prospect Watch List. An OVR all-star a season ago, she has good tools at the net offensively. She is versatile enough to shift between middle and right side and is efficient in her attacking action to be able to get healthy contact on different set tempos and location. Look for her this club season competing for Legacy Volleyball Club (OH) and anticipate that she'll arrive among the ranked 2029s in Ohio with the next rankings cycle.
