Mattingly (pictured) does a good job making the simple first touches. She reads defenders well and does what she can to beat balls to their destination on the floor. She uses a good platform to make nice two to three-point passes. Mattingly also makes nice out of system passes. Mattingly had 370 digs and 58 assists to help Washington County improve its win total by nine games from the previous season.

Shewmaker stepped into a tough situation and ran the offense well. She distributes balls to different hitters and makes the most of off-target first touches. She'll only improve this club season.

Abell turned into a reliable hitter for the Commanderettes in the fall. She has a good wrist snap, using it to attack seams with precision. Abell angles balls off blockers well for big points. Abell is not afraid to pound balls at sound liberos. Abell uses her off (left) hand to stun defensive specialists. Abell had 130 kills in the fall, helping Washington County improve its win total by nine games from 2024.

Carney hopes to make an impact at setter or defensive specialist. She showed promises for the Banshees in the fall. She hustles after balls and puts hitters in position to put balls down.
