Over the two days our scouts spent a total of over 30 hours in the gym. We got to watch a lot of good volleyball be played and clubs/teams begin to position themselves within the regional rankings. Let's meet five passers across various ages that were relentless in the back row as passers.

Abigail Brown: Libero for Elevate 15.1. 15s might be the deepest age in club this year. This is a very dangerous elevate team though. They will definitely be one of the club's best teams. Abigail and company was able to make a run all the way to the gold bracket semifinals. Her back row play had plenty to do with how they got there. This team struggled a little in serve receive, but she was definitely someone you didn't want to serve at and made a handful of big-time digs in transition.

Kinley Dunn: Libero for TPV 14-3. Kinley immediately caught our eye as soon as we arrived at her court by making back to back sensational digs while on the move. She is not just an issue for opposing hitters, but she also causes plenty of problems for opposing passers with her float serve. This team has a lot of room for growth and could be causing waves by the time the regional tournament rolls around in May.

[player_tooltip player_id='904393' first='Avalon' last='Wilson']: Libero for BAVC 14-1 Royals. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, I've gotten to watch Avalon play on a handful of occasions now. Her middle school team at Coweta went undefeated beating my 8th grade team in the championship of the conference tournament. Her club team put together a 4-1 weekend. She is a solid player and is a key cog for BAVC out of left back. She has a bright future ahead of her.

Giana Jackson: Libero for UPVBC 14 Elite. Giana and her team got into a three-way tie during pool play. Unfortunately, this dropped them to the silver bracket. They started Sunday with a hard fight win in the third set. She has a very developed skill set for her age. She also is a great leader on the court with her voice. Always communicating and bringing uplifting energy. She's also able to cover a lot of ground in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='773651' first='Ava' last='Cathcart']: Libero for Elevate 18.1. 18s played in the morning wave on Saturday alongside most of the young ages. Ava is a great role model to young passers. As they crowded around her court to watch, they were able to see a really disciplined platform in service receive, how much a Libero can be a leader for a team and what relentless pursuit can do in transition.
