More New Additions to Follow in Nebraska 2028 Watch List

Our latest feature visited the overhauled watch list, where several middle blockers made their database debut. The Huskies compiled a 21-12 record in an ultra-competitive Class B field, and Myers was one of many sophomores who catalyzed the effort. She was a valuable substitute off the bench who could stabilize Aurora's passing pattern in any zone. Myers also locates her transition digs well, allowing her team's full arsenal to thrive. Summerfield stepped into a prominent role as Omaha Burke's starting setter last fall, producing 7.2 assists per set while distributing a balanced Bulldog offense. Trusty led Beatrice's ledger in kills per set and hitting percentage as a full-time starter. Hoins rose among the underclassmen and locked down the libero jersey en route to another postseason appearance. She finished the 2025 campaign with over 400 total digs and was among the team's most lethal servers, too. The dynamic pin attacker built on her productive 2024 campaign with another triple-digit-kill season last fall. Ricenbaw has now seen her share of high-level matches, from a state title match to nail-biting district finals. Augustin is the next one on the docket after she averaged nearly eight assists per set for Shelby-Rising City last fall. And, like any impactful setter, this sophomore brought several other statistical contributions to the fray. The Huskies thrived in long rallies behind Augustin's stingy Zone 1 defense and phenomenal reading skills. Soucek was a persistent triple-double threat in 2025, logging nearly two kills per set, over three digs per set, and about four assists per set. Last year's 24-6 season was the team's best, and Belt engineered everything at the setter spot. Her leadership yielded 8.7 assists per set and a wealth of dramatic victories, including a late-season thriller over Cedar Catholic in district play. The Eagles leaned on their sophomore setter throughout 2025, and Vice delivered with seven assists per set and half an ace per set to boot.
